Anne of Green Gables (Annotated) Kindle Edition

This is a lovely story that we reread for book club. A great classic that everyone should read! Unfortunately this kindle edition is rife with errors. On every page numerous words are strung together and make the book almost unreadable. Save your 2 bucks and buy a different edition. Your brain will be very thankful.

Such a sweet classic, story of grace, love and kindness. Also the love of learning, imagination, virtues and all that is most important in life.

I loved the book, BUT the amazon edition had a lot of words together without a space and it made it difficult to read. Inevery page therewas lines like this.

This is the first of many readings of this special, beautiful book, to be sure. The Tv series was dear to me as a child, and the books are every bit as wonderful.

I surely understand why this beautiful book has been such a treasured read for generations. Do yourself a favor and get to know Anne, her adopted family, and her friends.

This was a revisit to Green Gables. A close friend had been to visit Anne;s home while on vacation in Nova Scotia. She took a photo of herself standing in front of Green Gables with an actor portraying Anne. When I saw the photo I knew I had to visit Anne. Loved the book even more as an adult as I did as a child of the 50's.

Enjoyable for all ages. It brings the reader to a simpler time where appreciation for nature, the value of morals, ethics, and integrity were important. I visited Prince Edward Island and felt like I was in the story!

The weaving together of a clean story was most important to me. My niece who has watched some of the videos could tell me the story
