Looks just like the original
My Jandy valve is installed horizontally at the highest point in the pool piping system. Per Jandy instructions, this is the worst place to put a check valve. The Atie flapper kit works well even in this bad application. Our spa looses a couple of inches of water overnight to back-flow, but that's it. The old flapper let our spa drain lower than than the supply jets, making a lot of water noise every morning when the spa had to refill. It's a good replacement part that is very easy to install. Coat the top o-ring with Vaseline to assure a good seal.

Great alternative to OEM Jandy 7056 replacement part
I have a nearly 20 year old pool system and have had to do some repairs recently. I have never opened my check valves but I have been having the water drain back into the pool for some time but never thought about the check valves being the issue. Once I determined it was the culprit, I started looking for replacements and came across these. Reviews were mostly good but some had issues. Not me.I can tell you that I installed 3 of these in about 15-20 minutes, used Pool grade O-ring lube on the new valve flapper and o-ring seals, and tightened by hand in a star-crossed pattern (like lug nuts on a car tire), and I have had no issues whatsoever. I did inspect the inside of the check valve housings and found some contaminants that needed to be scraped away prior to installing the new flapper. The contaminants were built up and could have prevented a tight seal. I also put some o-ring lubricant inside the valve where the flapper will be seated to ensure a nice seal.Anyone can do this change, I just recommend you wear some latex gloves, bring some paper towels to wipe off excess o-ring lube, and only hand tighten the screws when reinstalling. Old plastic can be brittle and over tightening can easily crack the housing where the screws are inserted.

These work about as well as any I've used in the past
Typically check valves like this seem to last me about 2 years or so before they fail. Time will tell if this particular brand is any better or worse, but for now they're working perfectly. I have an elevated spa/hot tub that spills into the pool, and when the check valves need replacement, it's obvious because my hot tub is empty in the morning. They look and fit like OEM Zodiak or Jandy check valves. I replaced both valves in this two-pack under my wife's watchful eye in under 10 minutes. They come with the necessary O-rings, and because I have two to replace each time, I really like that they come in this two-pack.If these last for at least 2 years, I'll be back for more when they fail.Hope this helps.

Lasted 15 months before leaking
The price for this off brand was cheap but it only lasted 15 months before developing a small tear in the flapper gasket allowing water to leak out of the SPA. For twice the price you can get name brand OEM which lasted me eight years. You do the math.

Just OK
What you see is what you get but they leak worse than the ones I took out.I'm sure if you are replacing them annually, they would prob work fine.Just didn't work in my situation.
