Rhode Island Novelty 34 Inch Pink Flamingo Yard Ornaments, Set of 2

These Flamingos add a whimsical addition to any garden,terrace,patio or deck …no matter how formal or informal….a perfect “pet” ….smile !!!!

I have been looking for the old-style flamingo's like we used to get but couldn't find them. These are light-weight but do stand up.

One set of these came without legs but company emailed me saying they will mail me the missing part. Great service. Will update when I get missing legs. The flamingos themselves are gorgeous! Nice size!! I hope to get legs to display them.

Great for what it is. But don't expect to receive the legs for it, as many have stated and I can attest to. I received two flamingo corpses with no legs and there was no time to have that fixed. I had bought them as a funny to surprise my mother for her birthday (I quietly and stealthily planted them in her front yard overnight so she'd wake up her bday morning to them!) Amazon made it right but I had to go to Lowe's to shop for "legs" for these. (small welding rods, by the way, for those in need)

Oh, my goodness. Where do I begin? The first thing I noticed was the very flimsy legs. They bent easily as I was putting them into the pre-drilled holes. Those pre-drilled holes were too small even for the small diameter legs. Next, after I placed them into my yard, they just drooped on their legs. Hmm. They weren't advertised as drunken pink flamingos, so I figured some thing was wrong. I reinforced the legs with pink masking tape (yes, they sell that. They faded in the sun. My last gripe, and the worst, is that after the first rain, the grass under them had died. Yep, two brown spots in my yard.I advise you to avoid these.At least they were pink.Oriental Trading Company sells theirs through merchants here on Amazon. Much higher quality, but a few dollars more. In my opinion, if you to be refined yet tacky like me, you should go with these.Okay, I'll climb down off my soapbox now.

My order arrived on the expected date and was in good condition. No scratches, dents, cracks or discoloration. All eyes were in place and no missing legs/posts.Perhaps the only negative would be that legs/post felt a bit flimsy and not the most secure when inserted into the flamingo, but that did not bother me much. For the price, I can find a way around that.

I purchased this a few months ago on Amazon. I have had other Pink Flamingo's in the past. These Flamingo's have wire legs, which all of the other flamingo's I have purchased did, but most have a molded piece on the bottom for the metal rods to go and hold them in place. On these flamingo's, the legs go into little holes in the body of the flamingo's, and they puncture the plastic. They are hard to keep the legs in them, and they wobble. I do not like these for that reason. They are constantly needing adjusted, and when you move one leg, the other falls off before you can stick it back in the ground. I would not purchase them again.

I bought these little guys for a one time Flamingo themed birthday fiesta.....little did I know they are the John Snow of lawn flamingos. They surfaced early September complimenting my parties theme perfectly. Due to my lazy nature and ability to forget things the thought of even taking them down didn't cross my mind until min November. Then the first snow storm hit..... at least 1 FOOT OF SNOW covered these bad boys and they stood tall and proud, heads peaking out gallantly. Weeks passed and the snow melted to reveal that only 1 of 4 strong willed birds fell ill to the climate conditions but was easily brought right back up to join his fellow brethren's to then stand for 3 more months. I would definitely buy these they rock.
