I followed the removal of the old ballast and rewiring. The new led bulbs work great! Very bright. I can't speak to longevity yet (only 2 weeks usage). No issues with any bulbs with the cross-county shipping.

These work as advertised. After numerous ballasts went out on some florescent light fixtures, I switched to these. They are easy to install and fit into T12 'tombstones' that the florescent fixtures had used. No hum and no flicker now. One bulb was loose on one end but still works. No other issues.

Order a couple of extra, you can be pretty sure at least one will be broken. Two of mine were. I knock off one star because one light lost a contact pin somewhere along the way, even though they have protector covers installed. Looks like it wasn't bonded properly at the factory. Not removing stars for the 2 broken bulbs. I could have used the defective bulb, but without the pin it just wasn't secure enough for me. I had extras and kept it as a spare.Installation is simple with ordinary tools found in a home toolbox, as long as you have a set of strippers. A few extra wire nuts are also handy to have on hand. Pay attention when installing the bulbs, the power only supplies one end so it does matter which end of the bulb goes to the powered tombstone. Don't ask me how I know. They are marked.Overall, a great product for the price. Very bright, lets see how they last.

The lights are the correct brightness (Daylight) for what I wanted. I have a three car garage with four fixtures; each fixture has four bulbs, and one double bulb and one single bulb fixture (19 bulbs in all). The ceilings is about 11'. I got the frosted lens bulbs and they light up the area very well. The longevity will tell its own story over time. I have to trust the manufacturer that they are more efficient. The packaging was minimal. About the same as you would see in a big box store, only these are being handled Amazon's contracted carrier, so they get tossed around a bit. One of the bulbs was broken upon receipt, but I did not want to hassle returning them and all that, I knew that Amazon cannot get just one bulb. They are sold by the case of 20. I deducted one star because of this shipping issue.

I purchased and installed a box of these T8 LED tubes to replace old T12 florescent tubes. The process went smoothly and worked very well. I now have suburb lighting in my garage and family room! Based on my experience, I recommend the 5,000K and the single ended tubes. I think the decision on light color and brightness is largely a personal matter. However I can say that the frosted tubes I purchased worked wonderfully for me. The installation time for conversion of a fixture is going to be dependent on how familiar with the replacement you become and how much material(wiring and ballast) you desire to remove from the fixture and if the existing tube sockets(tombstones) are reusable(mine were). I cannot speak about bulb longevity as I have just installed them. I do recommend this seller and this product.

I would have given you a five star but three of the bulbs were shattered.

Great replacement bulbs. Fixture must be correctly modified for them to work. This is no problem if you have any knowledge of electrical work and should be easy for any tool handy person who can read and follow instructions.Fantastic light output.

I've had these for a while, took out my balits ,did a retro, and haven't burned one out yet, but I did notice the price went up.

I bought this at a great price and there was several available but we needed to test it first. But after I got such a fabulous product.... There's no more available. I need 5-7 more boxes please. Redoing the whole house and shop

Just installed so can't say anything about how long they last, but they really improved the lighting in my shop. Really brightened things up.
