Tear Aid

I used this on a canvas convertible top on an S2000 that has a rip in it. Duct tape didn't work, just became goo and came off. Other vinal patch kits didn't work. This worked very well. I was careful to clean the area. The one thing to be careful of is: the material is very very stretchy, so you have to be careful when applying it or you will create some bubbles. Once on, it is holding well after weeks and plenty of time in the sun and rain.

Seems to have covered the tear OK. Haven't field tested it, yet.

These patches are much cheaper than the official Eno patches.Still kinda testing the waters with this one. I had a small hole in my hammock. There was a flap of material that got punched by a stick. I cut two pieces of roughly equal size and stuck them on both sides of my hammock on the hole. It seems to be working just fine. I regularly have two people in my hammock and the patches have given me no trouble so far. After about 6 months of use, the patches seem just fine. The glue has stretched a little, but it's nothing too concerning. I will keep this updated as time goes on.

Works as advertised. No, better than that. In reality it will take more time to know for sure, but nothing else has even come close to patching tears (not small holes but 3" openings) and stopping the leaks in my float tube.

Its a $10 piece of tape.

This stuff works great! So great that I now buy it by the roll directly from the company. Much cheaper that way. If you only make occasional repairs, get this now.
