Sew D'Lite Supreme Portable Sewing Machine 11401
This machine is made in China and comes with no instructions. There is a cryptic chart pasted to the top of the machine. I was able to figure out the threading sequence, but the throat plate was loose. There are no instructions for positioning the throat plate. It seems to need the needle holder and presser foot removed in order to reposition the throat plate, but the screw holding them is so soft it will not unscrew without destroying the fitting.The drop in bobbin has a little chart for the correct alignment of the thread: counterclockwise or clockwise. x or o. What does that mean? Is it + or 0?I have no idea.I have searched in vain on line for instructions for this machine without success.

Going in blind to new little sewing machine
I purchased this item from a seller who did not have any experience sewing with it. She tried to explain to me what she did know. There are no printed instructions with the machine. I have no idea how to even thread the machine. I hope I can find some directions for it. If anyone knows how I can obtain them, please let me know. [email protected]

This Sew D'Lite Supreme sewing machine is lightweight.
This machine worked well for me new out of the box. It is a cheap and inexpensive way to teach a child to sew. Great for small stitch repairs, smaller projects. It is not a real sewing machine but it has it purposes, such as teaching and small quick repairs. 4 stars!

You need to remember it is not full size sewing machine!
Considering the price and taking into consideration what it is made for, it is a great little machine. I've been sewing since I was 4 and have sewn just about everything. Because of my experience I was able to get this machine up and running. I don't recomend this machine for first time sewers or inexperienced or limited experienced sewers, or children. Unless you want them to hate sewing. You do need to have patients and "if all else fail READ THE DIRECTIONS" ;-) The instruction manual is necessary in order to thread it properly and for information on the bobbin. With all that being said it is a great little machine to do mending or light sewing. I would never make a tu tu with it. LOL
