This book has information on yarns that is hard to come by. Most books cover structure as means to produce collapsed fabrics.She thoroughly explains yarn counts, twist and gives formulas to establish yarn diameter and twist angle which will assist in choosing adequate yarns for your projects.There are various chapters that cover adequate structures for collapse, yet it is not a recipe book. It presents structure information as a starting point for further developments.The chapter on finishing the fabrics is well researched and explanations go beyond the usual wash and tumble dry.The photos are another source of information as well as very inspirational.All in all there is not a wasted filler page in this book i give it 5 thumbs up.

Although I'm fairly new to weaving and use nothing more complex than a Rigid Heddle loom this was comprehensible and fascinating! I've been getting interested in collapse weave gauze. This book has it all - from loosely woven gauze to highly structured pieces! Inspirational pictures as well as lots of detail and explanations --lots to learn and it's all intriguing I loved it!
