Spandex Simplified: Custom Swimwear

I think the book is fine, but I was looking for a book that talking about drafting swimsuits, and this book is based on having a commercial swimsuit pattern. Fine for customizing suits but the information isn't really anything new. I returned it and bought a stretch knit drafting textbook instead.

This is a very clever and well written book on swimwear construction. It's filled with tips, tricks, humor and inspiration.

Hello, I Personally bought Spandex simplified "Fitness and Bodybuilding" Book last year. I liked it, I thought it was useful and helpful. Besides a lot of the info you can get online in videos now anyhow for free, it is still useful to look back on with pictures. So I decided to ask for the Spandex simplified "Custom swimwear" Book for Christmas. Thinking I would learn so much more and some different techniques. That is not what happened, as I read through the pages then compared it with my other Spandex simplified book, I soon realized it was almost yes "Almost exactly the same book" Which is why I write this I review. I was So excited and pumped to learn some new things. As I now realize and understand Fitness and reg Bathing suits have the same sewing techniques they are just cut differently....So my mistake I guess in thinking these would be different in the first place. But I want everyone to know its kinda misleading in the fact they never mention that anywhere!! There practically the same book. I think the Custom Swimwear has a page on making ruffles and scrunch butt. Which could be useful to others, but was not for me. Other than the misleading titles its a good educational book but I now have two of the practically same book! Ugh ....

I liked the book, very informative and great pictures with easy to follow directions.
