A Tremendous Contribution To The Strength And Conditioning Community!
One of my mentors who passed away several years ago, Jim Rohn always said success leaves clues. Anthony Renna has been hosting the Strength Coach Podcast for many years is a tremendous interviewer. He's applied those skills with interviewing 50 of fitness and physical therapy "heavy hitters" to tap into some of the clues that have made each of them successful in their chosen niche and put them together for this book. This is a great book that I plowed through. If you're interested in the strength and conditioning or athletic peak performance, this book is filled with gems from some fantastic people that are some of the most respected individuals in each of their communities. This book is not a challenging read that you will need to know a lot of technical jargon to benefit. Even a casual fitness enthusiast will benefit from this book. One of the people that Anthony interviewed for the book Dan John wrote a book called "Never Let Go," which is a book that I review every year and uncover or rediscover gold every time I visit the book. I put this book in the same category of one that I will refer back to often. I like the "Be Likes" at the end of each chapter, which is filled with gems from each of the people that Anthony interviewed. This is nothing entirely new, but I do like the summaries at the end of the chapter in the format as presented. I do know Anthony, but it is from a distance. I've been a regular poster on the strengthcoach.com forum. I'm also a longtime listener to the Strength Coach Podcast. I've never met Anthony in person, but I have a deep respect for his contributions to the strength and conditioning community and have been a fan of his for a long time.If you found this page on Amazon, you must be interested in the topic or have an interest in some of the people that Anthony interviewed I don't think you'll regret adding this to your library.

Success is a skill
This book should be read by everyone, not just in the fitness industry. Holds a lot of great insight to those who are where you want to be. Like Anthony said, you can read it however you want, cover to cover or find someone. The actionable steps at the end of each interview will help you keep moving forward.

Whats the life
Not a motivational book. Nevertheless, I got the most motivation and the best ideas. You will see life from a whole new perspective, you will see completely new possibilities if you honey the world with your “be like” eyes. Thanks a lot!

Great advice
Bought this for my friend for Christmas and she loves it. She is a personal trainer and has really enjoyed all the great advice in this book. This was delivered in good time and was packaged well.

Repetitive.
Good bite sized bits for fitness professionals. My problem with it is that I don’t think I want to be like the best and own a business, and there for the reading gets repetitive. Really like the suggested reading by the interviewee.
