Fortex Industries 280445 Feed Saver Ring

My thoroughbred was dumping most of his feed out of his rubber feed tub onto the floor of his stall and then eating it from there. I did not mind but the barn manager did. First I bought the feed tub that goes with this ring and it helped by being deeper and rigid but my horse still slid some of the feed up and over the side with his nose. I added the ring which has been successful in stopping his behavior of removing the feed from the tub. I observed him eating and it does not seem to bother him at all that he has to eat from his tub and he does not even attempt to remove his feed.
