Complete Product Review - Worth the Money, Just Ignore the Extras
Size:I haven't got a clue why people are complaining about the size, at 0.7 inches wide this usb drive is right in line with every other usb drive on the market. It's skinnier than my Lexar 32gb usb 2.0 flash drive that I bought a few years ago and it has no problems fitting alongside my other components that are plugged into usb ports that are side by size.Product Build:The product is great, it has the right price and the right speed. It has a role in the top so you can connect it to a keyring, backpack or something similar so you can always have it with you (it is not waterproof). When I first pulled it out of the package it was making a lot of squeaky noises because the parts had not settled in yet which worried me however after holding it for just a few minutes and pressing it together this was taken care of and it now feels sturdy and has no problems. The lid for the product is a little cheap, I generally do not like usb drives that have lids because they are so easy to lose. I would consider this the only downfall to the product, the lid comes off easily and it would be nice if you could slide the lid over the opposite end of the usb drive when you are using it (much as you would a marker or pen). There is a red light to indicate when something is being read/written to the device but no permanent light that shows it is connected.Color Changing:The color changing technology does not seem to work for me, I've tried placing it on a bag of cold water and holding it tightly in my palms for a few minutes but I can't seem to get any visible change in color as described. This doesn't bother me though as it wasn't something I cared about, it was more of a "oh, it has this too" kind of thing.Read and Write Speeds:Read and writing speeds are what you would expect and similar to the speeds that other reviewers are getting so there is no problems there. Just don't expect the advertised speeds to be achieved as there are more theoretical and wont be attained in most situations.Packaging:I like the packaging that it comes in, hardly any excess of what it has to be. The "Touch & See" sticker for the color changing temperature is place upside down which is odd but no biggie. It comes with no manuals or sheets of paper, I was hoping it would come with some information about the warranty however it fails to say anything other than "Lifetime Warranty" in the corner. The download url on the back of the package to get the SP Widget is not correct and just brings you to an error page.SP Widget:Even though the url on the package is incorrect, it can easily be found through a search engine. The SP Widget features "seven main functions to maximize your SP portable HD and USB flash drive's potential by making data storage more intelligent and convenient." It's 12.2MB in size so it's very small. The download contains two files: a lengthly manual and a .exe file which contains all the widgets that can be put onto your computer or flash drive. The widgets included are: data backup, encryption (can't find level of encryption and can only be applied to folders), PC Lock and Norton Internet Security. Nothing really stands out here, the encryption could be useful for some people depending on what level of encryption it offers, PC lock is useless, you would be better off using the built in OS lock.Overall:The flash drive does what it is supposed to do well, it reads and writes at great speeds and stores lots of data at the same time. The color changing and SP Widgets are not very useful thus shouldn't really be one of the main reasons why you would buy this product (it shouldn't even be thought of for that matter). These two things don't get in the way whatsoever if you choose not to use them so they aren't any real problem. This is definitely a worthy buy, a great flash drive, just ignore the extras that come with it and you will not be disappointed.

FAST - BLAZING QUICK
The jury will be out for a long time as to how long this will operate - some thumb drives die rather young. However, if you want your work written in a flash (pun intended) then this is your ticket. Not only is it quick to finish even huge files but even the first use was fast because the driver req'd installed on its own in seconds and I was off to the races. This mfr has slower thumb drives and glitzier models, too. But this one is the lowest price and is wonderful. I pray it stays like that for years of use.In addition to all the above, I was curious if reading off the drive would also be cracker-jack good. So I copied a multi-Gb HD movie onto the drive and then ran that movie off the thumb. Walla! You'd think you were hot-wired directly to the digital master machine, no a single hickup or delay. I bought another thumb drive at WalMart at the same time and while it was the same price as this one, it ran 5 times more slowly. Ugh.I've been looking hard for a downside to this little toy, but so far it is just NOT there. Maybe I'll remember to provide an update later. In the meantime, however, there is one little issue I should mention. The warranty is not a full year like you might expect. The warranty is a lifetime long. OK, so what's not to like here.Come and get um while they're HOT - I'm buying another one ASAP, myself.

Not as fast as you may want, but certainly big and worth it.
I got this as a starter USB flash drive. I'll slowly be switching out my armada of them as I go along. I love flash drives - yeah, I've embraced the cloud, but nothing beats having what you need on you without requiring an internet connection so I'll be collecting them for some time. Now that USB 3.1 is here, I'm going to wait to add to my collection. As for the Blaze B10, I did some Crystaldisk benchmarking and got speeds I couldn't hit in real use. So I won't bother posting the results. Something that people don't realize is that USB 3.0 is very new and very finicky right now. It's heavily software dependent. Many will say "don't install drivers for it on Windows 8, since it comes with native ones" - don't listen. I have a system with both VIA and Intel USB 3.0 and the VIA ones have come a looooong way. They are troublesome to say the least, but have gotten much better with drivers. That being said, the rate on this stick changes depending on the brand used.I get 30-35MBps consistent copying to the drive using the VIA based solution and 45-55MBps using Intel's. Copying from the drive (to another USB 3.0 drive) gives a rate of 170MBps for the first ~30s and then 40-50MBps for the rest with fluctuations on the VIA based solution and 160MBps for the first ~30s down to around 70MBps for the rest of the data using Intel. Tests were performed using a 5GB directory full of media and a 15GB directory full of media. I have no other USB 3.0 chipsets to try atm than these. The color change is gimmicky but fun. I'd have preferred them designing something without a cap, but big deal. For the price I don't dare complain.- Pros: Big, Reliable and considerably faster than USB 2.0. Big enough not to lose it (hopefully!)- Cons: Not as fast as a few slightly more expensive USB 3.0 sticks. Has a cap which can be lost.Recommendation:- Buy it if you need the space mostly. It's a great value and the speed is not bad. I have no regrets. I was going to pick another up for use as a rescue drive, but I'm instead waiting for USB 3.1 to come.- Skip it if you're looking for burning speed, you're going to need to spend more for it.

Dopo tanti anni funziona ancora benissimo
saranno 8 anni che la utilizzo copiando e cancellando file in continuazione e funziona ancora. Unico neo la velocita di lettura e scrittura che non supera mai i 20 Mbps

Verdaderamente bueno
La verdad que la calidad excelente. Muy buena marca para dispositivos de almacemiento. Muy contento. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Por buscarle una pega sería la capacidad. Pero igualemente es fabuloso.
