I would have been pretty happy with these boots but the company shipped me two right boots so my order was unusable. They run small so order the next size if you are between sizes. The calves are slim and the ankles are tight which I wanted but these won’t work for anyone with large calves.

When we were wiping off my daughter's boots, after wearing them once, we noticed 2 small holes near the sole. It appears to be a flaw in the material, that will get larger with time.

These boots have possibly the worst "breaking-in" period of any shoe I've ever worn. When you first put them on, it'll be extremely hard to zip them up, especially around your calves. But once you finally do break them in, it'll be SO worth it if you want to look like an NFL cheerleader, or whatever you might use the boots for.Another caveat is that you should always go one size higher than what you usually wear, perhaps maybe round up if you're in a half-size. I've known Pleaser U.S.A. Inc. to be infamous for this for a long time, at least as far back as 2004, when I first heard of the company, and I don't know why. The company's existed since 1993; they've had nearly 30 years to get it right...

Wanted a 2"heel and most companies only had 3", but Fantazma had what I wanted. Love the boots only they are snug. Recommend getting the next size up. Good quality for the price.

I was hesitant to buy these boots for fear they would not fit my calves (left one is 14 inches and right one is 14.5 inches) but needed them for a show and loved that they had a lower heel than all the other boots I saw. I decided to take a chance and would cut them and add an elastic strip if needed.I needed a lot of help to zip up the right boot, but the was able to get the left boot zipped on my own with some work. Once on, I was thrilled with how comfortable they are. My feet feel great when I do my dance routine. I usually wear a size 7.5 to 8 and the size 8 boot fit perfectly on my foot. I am wearing them around the house to stretch them out and it was easier to put them on the second time--I'm sure a few more stretchings and they'll be just fine.I would say anyone with a calf measurement over 14.5 is not going to be able to zip them. Overall, I love the look and comfort and am determined to find other occasions to wear them after the run of my show.

These are super cute! Love the heel height but the calve is SO tight… I have “normal” calves and never have an issue with boots but I can’t even zip these up all the way… the left one zips up more so not sure if it’s the boots or my legs

These boots were ordered 5 days before we needed them and were received on the 3rd day (although I believe we did pay for express delivery). The fit was excellent and the boots were super comfortable. My daughter wore them for several costume parties and when combined with heavier socks, proved to be both comfortable and warm for some of the outdoor activities. She usually wears a size 9 1/2 medium width shoe, so we ordered the size 10 boots. These boots are very well made and are surprisingly sturdy. We expected them to be a bit on the flimsy side since they were costume boots, but that wasn't the case. I read a fair amount of Costume Craze's comments before ordering from them and they far exceeded my expectations and I would definately order from them again.

This boot looks wonderful on. You'll need to order 1 size up as they do run a bit small. I usually wear an 8 and this fits in size 9 with enough room for a gel insert - which I think I'll need. The soles are have no padding and are pretty hard. You'll need slim legs to wear these. Usually boots gap really badly on me, but these fit nice and tight. I tried both the stretch boots (these) and the non-stretch ones. They look very similar in the photos here but they are very different. These stretch boots have thin vinyl for the legs. The non-stretch ones are heavy, and I thought very stiff. The stretch ones are also very form-fitting on the legs. The non-stretch not so much.

These do run a tad small in the foot, but also in the leg. I bought these in size 7 for my 9 year old who normally wears a woman's 6 and a half. They fit her perfectly. I'm an average sized woman, with average calves, but I am pretty sure that I bought these for myself, they'd be hard to zip up.

Bought these for an 11 year old (don't judge) and she loves them. She's skinny as a twig, but we managed to get a size that fit comfortable around the calf while being just a bit big in the toe (just as any shoe should be for a kid).Now I feel awful for having bought these for a child. Thanks, Amazon. I'm only a step-parent. does that count for anything? She already had some similar, but they were falling apart. That should be something! I just created a stripper, didn't I? You're welcome, next generation losers. :(

I purchased these boots to go with a retro 60s/70s type outfit. Well, they look exactly as I expected so that is where the 2 stars came from. But, from there it's down hill. I have fairly small feet. I wear a 6 1/2 - 7 womens shoes. I ordered these a whole size larger (8). They were a chore to get on. The inside barely was long enough for my foot. I could not zip it up. The description says this is supposed to be stretch patent. Well, it is not. It did not stretch at all. I have smaller calves and the boot would not zip up. I think these would fit a skinny teen or pre pubescent girl well (or a very skinny adult with no calves.) Anyway, I wish everything else had worked out, because the boots are pretty fun looking.

The boots are cute. Quality is very good for a costume boot. I am 5' tall and the boots come slightly over my knee. Through the calves, the boots are not tight, but fit snug like go go boots are supposed to. I wear the boots with a ladies 60s Chorus and always get lots of compliments and laughs and Oh I remember when stories. I wanted a lower heel for standing and dancing long stretches of time and these boots are perfect. Good purchase!

These arrived a day early - so kudos to the shipper. The calf was a little snug, but I was still able to zip them. Toe box had plenty of room, they are cute, the heel height is great - but they are not good quality (sorry). Im hard on shoes so I sent mine back. I just dont think they will hold up very long for me. If you need "costume" boots - these will be perfect. I dont think they are well suited for long term wear.

Bought these for Christmas for my daughter. They are too tight for her to get them zipped. She does not have big calves. Unfortunately too much time has passed and I can't get them returned.

I bought these boots in whit because they were the closet thing out there for being Princess Leia. I have huge calves from water retention through out the day. My tip is to wear them every day before your function to loosen them up. You gotta break these babies in! The benefit is they do stretch very well to accommodate various sizes. Would recommend for any one who wants to be a super hero or a princess.
