Works great on our new build
These fit our vent elbows perfectly. We are building a new house and chose the silver color. They look great, feel sturdy, and arrived quickly. Price was comparable to big box stores. I do wish you could order just 2 at at time, though.

Just perfect!
This vent cover perfectly fit in the 4 in hole my soffit. I like how it anchors itself in. The old cover was nailed in. Glad I found this easy to install cover!

Easy install
I was not sure about this item, but, ordered it anyway. I installed them today in a few minutes each. Very easy and they seem just fine. I am using on bathroom fans. I would not recommend using for kitchen exhaust as the screen is not rated for high cfm flow. However, for my application, this works great. If the ears don’t work for you, just cut them off, drill holes and use screws to hold in place. Great price too!

Good quality and value
Comes with a fine mesh filter, which keeps the smallest pests out.The plastic won’t crack if flexed, so it appears to be very durable. It’s also paintable, which was a plus for my use.

Good but flaws
Bought to use on a new build. Products came in in good shape and unbroken. That being said, I had to replace three out of the four bug screens as it is just extruded plastic which was fine but the holes were not fully opened. Tried drilling them scraping with a razor blade but it was leaving a lot of debris everywhere inside the holes, which in my opinion would have still restricted air flow. Ended up buying aluminum wire mesh and glued that into place. Would have been nice not to have to spend extra to get everything to be just right. They'll be getting installed this weekend so we'll see how that goes though I don't see any real issues arising.
