Not Her Best, But Still Enjoyable
Possible Spoiler Alert! I loved Accidental Bestseller, Ten Beach Road and Magnolia Wednesdays where Ms. Wax's wit and ability to develop female relationships is at it's best. Leave it Cleavage just didn't live up to Wendy's talent. The main character seemed a bit whiny to me, and there were many places - especially in the first half of the book when I just couldn't believe how lame she was at times. Miranda (main character) would "step up to the plate", but then go home and lay in bed for days. She didn't share her burden with even her closest family (grandmother), when she really had nothing to hide. Much of it just didn't seem 'normal' - even for an image conscious southern-belle. Spoiler here: Mainly, I was left wanting to know why no one looked for the money that the husband absconded with, even when it was learned that he couldn't have spent/used it - that seemed to me like a major unanswered question. Of course, I'll read more of Wendy's books - all of them, most likely. She's adept at building characters that you just want to hang out with, and developing a story line that is engaging to follow. I guess that even for the best, one occasionally falls through the cracks.

Nothing special!
As other readers stated - a light somewhat predictable vacation read, nothing more. Not to speak of, unbelievable! The husband is missing for a long time, wive doesn't report him missing and lies about his imagined whereabouts. In real life she would have been severely questioned by the police, after all this is very suspicious of a possible murder. But NO, the "police chief" is only interested in sleeping with the poor wive and does so. And by the way the so-called police chief would have been relieved of his job for having relations with a possible suspect. Oh, well - just a "chick" novel!!Does the author think all women are stupid?

Fantastically Fun
This book made me laugh out loud more times than I could count. My doctor asked me what was I reading while I was waiting that was so entertaining? We took the time to share some of our favorite funny authors. Mine is Wendy Wax. Enjoy the ride!!!

Disappointed
I really enjoyed 10 Beach Road and looked forward to OceanBeach, but was really disappointed . Hope there will be a 3rd book in series to tie things up. I thought Leave it to Cleavage sounded"fun", but found it kind of dumb and for the most part boring. think I'll give this author another try and hope it's as good as 10 Beach Road

What a pleasant surprise
I was pretty hesitant to get a book with such a blatantly tantalizing title... but ended up really having fun reading this book! I love it when women become stronger than expected, gather the strength to survive and even conquer! All the while entertaining me with playful humor. I've purchased more books by the author and expect to be just as pleased.

Had a hard time relating to the characters
I have enjoyed most of Wendy Wax's books. However this want not one of my favorite. It is funny to see a husband who is a cross dresser leave his wife and business behind. She must handle the family business and I found her so relatable. So thanks for giving me something to laugh and admire how she steps up and tries to save the family business.

LOVE Wendy Wax!
I may be a little partial to her since I live in East Cobb (Atlanta suburb), where so many of her books are set, but her stories are just delightful to read. I always love her characters, I relate to them, cheer for them, and laugh out loud during every one of her books.
