Powers the speaker
It does what it needs to, but not exactly on my terms. Power is not supplied from my TV until the TV is on. Since I use a harmony remote, this means I cannot turn on the sound bar until the TV is on. For some reason, harmony won't let me change the order in the program so I still have to press another button to get my sound.

I am very happy with my purchase
I am very happy with my purchase. I used this USB power cable to connect a Vizio 29-in. sound bar (2015 model) to a 4K TV. This cable really does eliminate the need for an AC power adapter as described by seller. What a great invention and it works perfectly!
