Fruit & Veg Box

As a person who rarely gives feedback on the products I purchase via Amazon, after receiving the "Fresh Fruit and Veg Box" from Parrish Farm I felt compelled to let other people know just how good a service this company is providing, especially in this difficult time with the Coronavirus Crisis. As a person with underlying health conditions, but who does not fall into the vulnerable category, I have sat in vain every day for the last three weeks trying to get a delivery slot from the big supermarkets, but without any success I hasten to add. Demoralised, I was surprised to come across Parrish Farm via Amazon advertising that they could provide fresh fruit and vegetables direct to your home within a few days. As I have no fresh food left I decided to take a chance and order from Parrish Farm not quite sure what I would receive. Having placed my order in the afternoon I was amazed when the box of food arrived the following day (wow, that's what I call service) and not only that but the produce was in excellent condition (as good as if not better than that which I could buy in any Supermarket). I would like to say a huge thank you to Parrish Farm for getting this excellent food to me so quickly, especially in this crises. Due to your excellent service I now do not need to take the risk of going into a supermarket and in doing so risking my health. A huge thank you.

Brilliant. To get such tasty fresh fruit and veg. In a remote area where the supply is a poorer quality and the growing season is so short. If you like good quality fruit and greens this is a wonderful service. We live in the north of Scotland, midway between Inverness and John o’Groats and everything was still fresh and so tasty. It also came very quickly.....2days in such a long distance. It’s a great service.I suggest you try it. Excellent variety of goods.

The box of fruit and vegetables arrived well packed in a sturdy box. There was about five apples, four oranges, two pears, big bunch of carrots which were sweet tasting when cooked two turnips, two shallots, a bag of potatoes, onions, and a red onion, small sweet heart cabbage which had a lovely flavour and was not too chewy when cooked. All together I was pleased with the box and I would purchase again. I was expecting some bananas as other reviewers said they had received. Nonetheless, I would recommend this Farm seller and this box of provisions again. The price on reflection was a little high, but the quality was very good. Thanks for a good service.

If you're needing to replenish your fruit and veg, try this box. It's very affordable, quick service (wasn't expecting my box until later this week!). I've tried a different food box and this was a fair bit cheaper.Produce was fresh.Only issue I had was the way it was packaged, there wasn't any packaging within the box, which could have prevented denting in some of the fruit. Other than that super pleased with the service. Helps a lot with lockdown right now, as well as having quite a busy schedule.

My wife has reviewed this veg box and was disappointed with its quality and quantity. She had a conversation with the supplier and got a good will gesture from them. In my opinion she should have got her money back the veg was bad lettuce bananas tomatoes thrown away potatoes funny taste lumpy tried roasted awful thrown away cucumber tuff skin salvaged by pickling with the worst onion carrots went to slimy to freeze apples and pear no taste oranges not tried. So all in all disappointing and she wasted money not do it again. I looked at reviews for the week we had it ours 16th and most bad. They must have been at end of supply they’d got in as went off line for abit back on now. If you purchase this l sincerely hope yours is better especially when you can’t get out with this awful virus.

Bought as a gift for an elderly aunt +1, reported back to me, they didn't feel that there was much in the box, considering the cost. They named: only one pear. Potatoes 2.5kg (looked better pealed), small pot cherry tomatoes (they liked those); very small iceberg lettuce, one cucumber. 2 onions, 2 shallots. 2 x large apples.We are guessing that it could be the time of difficulty for the company also re production of their best produce? Availability maybe?Suggest by way of feedback - could you show actual boxes of veg that you sell, that way the picture matches that delivered? I wish you well in your business. Best Wishes J

Too expensive cheaper to buy direct! Potatoes were soft but box was overall good.

I ordered my box late on Sunday 19th April 2020 and received it by mid morning on Wednesday 22nd April 2020. My box contents were potatoes, cabbage, huge bunch of carrots with their tops, apples, oranges, pears, onions, a shallot and parsnips. All the items were fresh and in excellent condition and I am really looking forward to cooking the vegetables and eating the fresh fruit. Really pleased with my box of goodies.
