ElomiWomen's Charley Stretch Lace Underwire Plunge Bra

I’m still on that journey of being a small band large cup sized lemur that found the r/abrathatfits subreddit and size calculator, then embarked on a journey away from the wired bra under sports bra containment situation I’ve been aching under for 20 years. After puzzling over what precisely my root was and how exactly I might determine its width, or oscillating between knowing with certainty that I have full on top breasts and realizing I’m probably the epitome of a FOB shape; deciding yes I’m projected but is that the opposite of shallow? why haven’t I seen that a star is born movie yet? Anywho after questioning my roots and apex and all that I opted for the cheapest Elomi Matilda i could find in 36FF, they are UK sizes after all (pro tip, when looking at sizing a fast way to determine if the brand you’re buying is in UK or US sizing is to look for the letter doubles USA sizes don’t use- for example: the FFs. GG is another letter they’ll double in UK sizes but not in US. If you see one or both of these as sizes on the bra’s options you’re looking at non-US sizing.) The Matilda was the very first bra I have ever put on that contained my entire breast. The band, as I should’ve known, is a little too big. That’s all neither here nor there with this 36 FF Charley one though because my biggest, instant, and unrelenting fit problem with Charley, and there was one, was the quad boob it gave me due to each cup’s non-stretch edge across the top of each cup. It just looked like a seat belt on a marshmallow. It also felt wrong. Weird fit. Fwiw, I think my size should be a 34 GG or G, I’m trying those in panache this week when they are delivered, but this particular style and cut, while looking like a decent fit in my photo, was no question an unacceptable fit in person when I tried it on. I returned this bra. If you are trying to choose which Elomi bra to get do yourself a solid and start with Matilda, if you’re between band sizes get the smaller one and a bra band extender. Tugging down your bra band all the time means your band size is too big. I’m gonna find a way to wrangle my large naturals without this bra’s weird quad boob shape issues.Fwiw my return process was incredibly easy, I just found the nearest ups store and had my husband give 2 loose bras over to another grown man, with my QR code, and it took a few days but it refunded me and I’ve ordered 2 more bras now. I suspect handing bras to unknown surly men in shipping stores is something I could do myself, but I’d rather not. If you haven’t got a husband or work colleague handy and don’t like feeling so exposed because of a public handover of your underwear to strangers I recommend one of those daft punk helmets for the easiest return option, or doing it the hard way and boxing it up and mailing it in yourself. Anyways it was my first return and I was very pleased with how well it went so I’m not afraid to keep trying styles and sizes until I’m in a bra that fits, regardless of supposed weird vibes i am causing in the local UPS store between two men and several witnesses.

I have worn Elomi for years, even if they are very pricey, they fit me so perfect, but the last two Matilda bras I got (one not that long ago) ripped... so I ordered the Charley one -this one. I like it, but I followed the reviews on it that said it ran small compared to the one I normally wear so I ordered a size up. No Go. my regular size would fit me better. This had gaps in the back behind arms.

Great bras. Good fit and support. Comfortable all day wear. Pretty designs. I just wish they would come up with a model with front hook closure that offered the same great fit, support and comfort and good looks.

I have had 2 of these bras that the underwire comes poking out. I wish it was coated or more securedOr something!! I have two of their(Elomi) nursing bra and don’t experience this problem, guess because it’s thicker padding on the inside of the underwire. I just really like the way these bras feel and the options but if that was better I’d buy all the bras from them!!

Try before you buy helps me get the right fit

First the color of this bra is more of a brownish black then a straight black. If that makes sense. If you order Elomi bras your bra size is probably half through the alphabet like mine US K/UK H. If you haven't discovered the awesomeness of Elomi bras and you have huge knockers you need to try their other styles. This one didn't quite fit as well as the Matilda or the Cate. It did plunge and gave me some lift and separation, but I didn't like how it held on the sides near my pits. Also the texture of the material is weird. I like smooth silky bras or strong sheer bras this one looked like it should be a sports bra or something. This will be my first returned Elomi, but it's just cause my big ole saggy boobs didn't quite sit right in it. If you are a smaller size than me it would probably fit better for you. If you have Prime you can always return it. Also, try their other styles! Elomi is a blessing for alphabet boobs!

I've always loved Elomi bras, but one of the back clips broke really quickly, it wasn't stitched all the way. Willing to hope it was a fluke.

Lovely fit and versatile back

What a relief to discover Elomi, which caters to those of us who are magnificently endowed and still want to look hot and sassy, even though the girls weigh five pounds each. I am a 32DDDDDD, or 32J, or 32GG or... The sizes change depending on the country they are made in, and the manufacturer's own mysterious sizing. But having been fit in the lingerie store for Elomi bras, I now know definitively that I am a 32GG in this brand.And that gives me power. Power to get the most awesome bras for the girls, whenever and wherever they go on sale! And when I love them, yeah, I'll throw down a Benjamin for that baby! For example, the searingly perfect Elomi Sachi Strappy Underwire Plunge, with top-loaded criss-cross straps that are meant to be seen. Paid full dollar for that baby in purple-plum and I have just ordered my second in leopard-print from Amazon for $60. But I digress.Now, this bra. It. Fits. Perfectly. Having searched my entire life for a red bra that actually fits and isn't made for someone who doesn't need a bra at all, it was truly a eureka moment when I put it on. As I held it in my hands after taking it off, I realized I have, in fact, never owned a red bra until this moment. That is a tragedy to be addressed elsewhere, but meanwhile, I am so excited that I took two pictures to show you. (Which also show you my newly added COVID 15, and ALL AROUND MY WAIST AS USUAL, f***! But never mind...)I know. I suck at taking pix, yeah me, the former cinematography student, but I wanted you to see what really rocks about a perfectly fitting bra. I am now 65 and without a bra, the girls would drop like stones. I'm not kidding when I say 5 pounds each. But this bra perfectly distributes the volume and supports that volume all the way around the side of the bra, without flattening the breasts' natural pretty curves in front. The key to all this is getting the band size right. It's just as important as the cup size. Although I am 5'9" and 152 lb. this morning, I have a slender build, small chest and gigantic jugs. Finally, Elomi and I have found each other.

Why on earth would you ship the product in a clear bag?!!!! Like I really want my neighbours, let alone the Amazon driver to know what I ordered and THE SIZE OF BRA I WEAR! Im sure the bra is fine, I’m just a little embarrassed that Amazon or the seller would ship my bra in a clear plastic bag. Very inappropriate.

Got get professionally fitted to get the right size and then all Elomi Bras will fit you. Be sure to hand wash in cold water (it will easily shrink in the band) with lingerie laundry soap., rinse well and pat dry with towel. Hang dry overnight and it will be ready the next day. Excellent bra for large busted women
