The mask has quality stitching and the seams are finished nicely. The material is a soft cotton and the filters are easy to install. The adjustable elastic for the ears is comfortable. The reason I am giving it 3 stars and not 5 is because the vent on the mask does not adjust. It appears to have no function other than decorative. The vent is attached to the top layer of fabric, but not to all the layers of the fabric, which would have allowed the mask to provide air circulation. I would not recommend this mask.

I've been wearing this mask all week. It's well made, super soft, has nice even stitching, and the elastic hasn't irritated my ears at all. It has plenty of room without smashing my nose, covers my chin nicely, and is pretty easy to breathe in. There's a pouch to add a filter if wanted, although I haven't used one because I'm in a small office by myself and haven't felt the need. I do agree with other reviewers in that the vent is more decoration than function since it's not adjustable and only goes through the front layer of the fabric. Plan to hand wash in hot soapy water and air dry this weekend. Will update if it doesn't hold up. Overall I do recommend this mask however there are better ones available.

This is my 2nd order of two masks. they fit good, soft, comfortable and a decent thickness, adjustable straps and the bendable nose metal tab but the valve thing only goes through one layer of fabric so it doesn't work like it should, when you exhale the flap does not open up with your breath to let the hot air out, this masks acts like every other mask with a filter. The mask does its job, very soft and comfortable, looks good too.

Very cute mask. Fits well because of the adjustable elastic. It’s a tiny lightweight small piece of tubing that slides to shorten or lengthen the piece going around the ears. And the bendable metal part at the nose part is helpful.In order for the plastic round vent filter to be operational, you can put your mouth directly over it from the inside of the mask creating an air right situation and breathe in and out to test its function. Basically it is non functional since there is no way to create and airtight seal for the valve to work otherwise.I can’t verify what the insert filter is made of so I can’t speak to its effectiveness, I like to cut my own filtration film and insert it into the pocket. I use the regular non medical non woven masks and flatten them out and I can get 2 filters out of them using the filter provided with these masks as a pattern. Or I can use a true hepa filter to cut into size from the furnace filter I bought specifically for that use.Absolutely you must wash these before you use them. I wash by hand and air dry. I think the round plastic vent may melt in the dryer(idk) and the mask fabric may shrink. In between washing I thoroughly spray douse the mask with 70% isopropyl alcohol which is the strongest I can find. So from the grocery store I spray before stopping at the fast food place, make sure the alcohol has completely and thoroughly dried before using the mask for your next stop. Best to have the other mask on hand and use that before your next stop. At home I dunked into a jar of hydrogen peroxide until saturated and then removed to dry. The hydrogen peroxide slightly bleached the red checked fabric. Next time I’ll use straight boiling hot water to rinse after hand washing.If you wear make up like I do you will definitely need to wash by hand as soon as you get home and using a facial tissue also helps keep the make off the inside of the mask fabric. The interior fabric is solid white.

I like everything about this mask except for the lack of space on the nose. I have another mask and realize the flaw is in the short stitching for the nose space. I have a small nose, yet it feels totally smushed in the mask. If I push the mask up to create more space for my nose then it gets pushed into my eyes. If you adjust the eye are with the built in wire, you go back to a smushed nose. If this flaw was fixed, this mask would be 5 stars.

I love this mask. It is so much better than the others I've gotten. Very easy to wear. It does only come with 4 filters for the two masks but works for me as I only go out every 2 or 3 weeks .Great mask

Just so you know, you can’t return this item. This wouldn’t have been an issue if this item had not clearly been opened and look like it had been worn. I was simply going to return it an reorder but nope! They don’t accept returns. It’s pretty upsetting that they would ship out something like this durning a pandemic. I really really had high hopes so it kind of sucks that this was the outcome.

Loved the mask. My daughter and granddaughter always used this one, it was their favorite! I just bout them 2 more however I just found out 1 of them is falling apart. Where you put the filter in is coming apart, that not really a big problem, I could probably repair that. Except they are in CA and I am in KY. Plus the respirating part where you can get your extra air from is falling off. This is only two months old. I would think they should last longer than that. I am really sorry I just order 2 more. I am really considering them and ordering for somewhere else where they may last longer. Disappointed!
