I know the title is very dramatic, but when I was post partum- holding my baby 24/7- my back tensed up and no amount of massage or stretches would relieve the tightness and pain in my mid back from stress, lack of sleep, weird sleeping positions, holding the baby and just overall pain. I would lay on the prana mat for 15 minutes sometimes to the point of almost dozing off. The stress melts away and when you are off of it- you feel this relaxation as if you were on some drug. It’s your body releasing those feel good hormones and the tension is gone. It helps you sleep too! When I’m restless or insomnia- it just aligns you as if you meditated. I can’t say enough good things about this mat. My mom got a knock off- don’t do it. They are NOT the same. Worth every single penny.
