Don't buy this book for 160 dollars! It's a rip off!!!This version should be 20 dollars only.Why?Because it's just a bad copy of the original, half the original size, with very bad quality reproductions.What they have done is reproduce (like photocopy!) each spread of the original book.The quality of this edition is inferior to the Errata edition of the "New York" William Klein book or the "Towards the city" Takanashi book, and those books sell only for 30 to 40 dollars, with better quality reproductions of the original books.Don't get fooled! Don't pay more than 20 dollars for this book.

歴史的名作であることを再確認させてもらいました。

1960年代高度成長期の日本で撮影されたとは思えないほど終末観が漂っている。大阪万博の写真集とか当時の日本を捉えた他の写真家の作品はどれも「希望に満ちた未来を夢見る若人」として日本人が映っているのに・・・大道のこの作品集には「三丁目の夕陽」に出てたような明日を夢見て頑張る日本人はどこにもいない（笑）それにしても殺伐としてる　当時の浅草とか　凄いデカダンスですね。

なんじゃこりゃ〜、これはもう写真集とは呼べないレヴェルでしょう、大道先生、もうどでもよかったんじゃないかな。「写真集」としては、買う価値ゼロ・・・じゃ、いったいなんなんだ？？？？
