I use this jar on my nightstand to hold gauze pads to clean my dogs' teeth right before I go to bed. (Toy breeds have notoriously bad teeth.) The lid fits tightly, so no dust gets inside. Love the color of the glass and the textured pattern of the metal lid. Antique looking. They have different sizes. Measurements are in the description. I will probably buy another.

This matches the decor of my room well and fits a decent amount of candy in it. Love the lids especially.

I purchased this jar for jewelry which I keep in decorative glass containers to be seen. This item is lovely, matches my lilac bedroom, is high quality and arrived in extremely secure wrapping. The inside of the lid is plastic lined which makes it airtight for candy but for my use, great for keeping silver jewelry from tarnishing. Love it.

I liked the look of this item right away and wasn't diappointed when I got it and realized the glass is pale blue. It holds the right amount for me and the lid fits snugly. I wouldn't call it vintage though,more like a reproduction that gives itself away with the plastic stopper, the top and I'm wondering if it's really glass or plastic.

The first one I ordered arrived with a cracked bottom corner. I did a replacement order and didn't even have to send the broken one back, which surprised me! I've had a few delicate things arrive broken, and the sellers always want the item back. Like, why? Why do I have to deal with broken glass/ceramic just to get a replacement?This seller doesn't bother with that, just immediately ordered the replacement for me. Excellent service!I'm using this as a little 'reward' jar for myself. I'm writing small and big things that I want (shopping or treating myself), on strips of paper to put in the jar. When I've accomplished something I REALLY don't want to do, I'll pull from my jar to reward myself.I have ADHD and a severe lack of motivation, and I happened to read about this little method in an article, and thought it was brilliant! Element of surprise for the reward, positive reinforcement for completing a dreaded task, which over time will hopefully help with motivation.Also my favorite color is purple and it's hard to find purple stuff, so thank you!

my grand daughter wanted me to make her a prayer jar for her 20th bday. So I went to all my senior friends (like me) and collected their best Bible verses as advice and printed them out (like fortune cookie inserts. I put them in the jar and sent it to her. SHE LOVED IT.
