Slow read and outdated. Some if the topics discussed are sarcastic to cause very, very slow reading. Haven't been able to finish book and disappointed. Examples are somewhat outdated.

I can't remember what possessed me to buy this, perhaps a day when I was particularly low on confidence and thought I may find something useful in it. Perhaps other reviews made it look plausible. I just didn't like anything about the book. It's old hat and unhelpful. Not a recommended read. My advice is when networking: be yourself & trust your instincts. I hope that saved you some money in buying a book on the subject.
