Mama Lil's Mild Goathorn Peppers, 12 oz

Had this from Costco then they stopped carrying it. It’s not inexpensive but I love the flavor. Elevates the flavor of sandwiches, particularly Italian subs.

It gives a flavor pop to nearly anything savory like a sub-type sandwich, pizza, pasta, soup, stews, a rice or quinoa dish. It’s on nearly any menu of most cafes in Seattle or Portland. A few pieces in the oil is just enough to boost up a dish without being too spicy.

I first had these peppers in a restaurant and had to ask the waiter what they were. Thankfully she told me and I was able to order on Amazon. They go great in all kinds of things.

These peppers are soooo good. I first had them at the Chopt salad chain and have been obsessed ever since. Such a great salad addition!

These are great in almost anything. Sandwiches, pasta, salad, tacos, in a marinade for a brisket, you name it, these peppers add to it. Personally I'm not a fan of peppers that just add a lot of heat to a dish, but I love spice, which is a more flavorful component. These peppers have spice in spades, with little heat, which is probably part of why they're so versatile. My only complaint is how absurdly expensive they are, and that's from every vendor and store I've found them in - both in person and online, so I think it's still relevant to the product itself.

After moving away from the Pacific Northwest we could not find Mama Lils Goathorn Peppers anywhere in the East.Thank you Amazon for making them available to us.This product is excellent in salads, sandwiches and added to many entrees.There is absolutely nothing inside the jar that cannot be used; the peppers themselves, but my-oh-my do not forget about the oil.Use the peppers or oil wherever your imagination takes you.If you like a pepper taste with a mild spice to it, you will love this product.Expensive ? Yes! But worth every penny.Each jar was bound in multiple wraps of a styrofoam sheet material and six jars made it safely to us. Excellent packaging.I can't wait to use us these six jars and re-order.

A little sweet, a little sour, a little spicy. These sat in the pantry for a while before I finally used them in an omelet this morning; wow, what an awesome flavor punch to a little egg, cheese, and fresh basil. These are the mild version, and to my taste they are precisely that. Not over bearing, but do have a pleasant bite with a slightly lingering warmth. I think they're great and highly recommend!UPDATE: OMG, don't throw out the juice/oil! Great for home fries and I poured some on a grilled bun with garlic for a sausage sandwich too. Awesome!!

Bought these for a meal, great peppers. Would eat with almost anything
