ROCKYLow Country Waterproof Snake Boot

These Snake boots are Comfortable and easy to get on with the large oversized zipper.I have walked a few miles in them already and they fit like a glove, no chafing or blisters.These are my new "Slippers" when I go outside. Caught 5th snake in two weeks. Baby snakes 3 confirmed rattlesnakes. Last two were in the garage. We live in Central Valley Foothills on acreage.I like these boots so much, I just ordered a second pair to save. I found when you find something that you like, or it works you have to order more than one before the design is changed or the item is discontinued.OH, Snake boots with shorts is the new fashion statement :-))

I bought these for when I’m out trail riding on my 4 wheeler. They have been fantastic. I ride down and through several creeks and these have been fantastic for keeping my feet dry when I have to hop off and help someone get themselves free from being stuck. Fortunately I have not had the occasion to test their resistance to snake bites but, if I do I’ll come back and update my review.

Perfect fit, genuine quality.

This is the second pair of Rocky boots I've purchased. These ones will take some breaking in but that's no big deal. They are great quality and I dare any snake to try to get through them. Isn't going to happen. Protection up to the knee. I feel very safe wandering through snake territory in these. But these boots are more than that. They will be good for hunting, clamming, hiking and more. Very good value. You get what you pay for. Will break them in over the next couple of weeks. Then will be good to go for many years!

Seem to be nice heavy boots but I ordered 1 size bigger and can barely get my foot in the boot. I am a woman so my feet are not as wide as most men. As a matter of fact they are kind of narrow. Once in the boot, it's about a full size bigger. Super hard to pull on.

I haven't used the boots yet they just arrived they came on time they fit just fine fine the zippers work just fine I ordered a size 8 medium I'm 5' 3" 137 pounds. This boot may not be for people with large calves or wide feet I'll give another review after I've tested them in the field hopefully no snake bites. Where I fish Sometimes there are rattlesnakes.stay out of the tall grass( To be continued).

Comfortable to walk in but tight around the L or around the ankle, which makes it hard to take off

These are good snake boots. They fit my size 12 foot only after I removed the insole. I was going to send them back because they were too small, but then I figured I would see what they were like without the insole and they were fine. I don't worry about snakes or wear snake boots in the winter time. These boots would be nice winter boots, though. They are quite warm in the summer. Now there's an issue with the zipper, as it catches on the inner lining both unzipping and zipping every time. However, there is a way to keep this from happening: There is a velcro tab on the top of the boot. If while either zipping or unzipping you will retract this tab enough to put tension on the zipper and keep the opening as wide as possible, the zipper will not get caught and will work just fine. The manufacturer should either A. eliminate the zipper and replace with velcro tabs or B. Create a narrow rubber tab on either side of the zipper to keep the lining out of the zipper.
