The sharpest thing around
These are 9 mm snap off utility knife blades. The carbon steel blades like this one are probably sharper than the stainless steel ones. But all of them are more than sharp enough. But the sharpest is concentrated at the tip. If you try to cut with the "longer" side of the blade, the material is thin and it is not as good for that purpose as other knives with thicker blades. But if you need a knife with a sharp tip, these are for you. Each blade has 13 individual "snap off" tips in it, so you wind up with 130 sharp tips. I use mine in my hobby of making model airplanes. I've got other kinds of utility knife blades for other purposes.

Sharper than silver blades
I run a printing plant and we do a lot of cutting. If you read the history of Olfa cutters, you'll see that they were invented by a pair of brothers who were also printers. Almost every pressman I've worked with has an Olfa knife tucked in their shirt pocket. These blades are a step up from the stock silver blades. Definitely sharper and they seem to hold an edge longer. Sharpness matters when you're hanging off of a printing press making one handed splices over your head. I've bought these for years and I'll continue to buy them.

I love this blade.
These blades are very sharp and small enough to use in tight spots. I like that you can snap off the dulled portion after use and it functions like a new blade.

Make sure it will fit!
Purchased for my OLFA 9mm Stainless-Steel Utility Knife (SVR-2) and they don't fit. The thickness of the blade is thicker than what came with the knife originally so it won't feed through the smaller opening on the knife. Strange as any blade should work with the SVR-2, so maybe mine is an older version that won't accept these blades.

High quality, hardened/honed steel.
Yeah, they're not the cheapest blades on amazon but they are a harder steel than many of the others, and the quality of sharpening is very good, and looks almost honed. Worth the extra money if the blade's edge holds up a lot longer than the cheaper blades.
