I made a few modifications to the bucket I put in a drain with a valve at the bottom and connected lines to my basement sewer and drilled a 3/4" hole to the side of the top bucket lid and put a food safe rubber stopper that way I can drain and refill the plant without having to lift the lid and plant off the bucket. Also no need for an air stone is great,, plants are all vibrant and healthy

The shipping was fast. I reviewed comments on this product and the most common problem was missing parts foe customers. Sure enough I received the item and everything was good except one piece that goes in the tube (blue color) is missing. I will make it work before doing this review the company was notified with no correction and that's why they received 3 stars overall. I actually waited to write a review for the company to possibly correct the fault.

No clue why they want you to shove the air hose down the level indicator tube... when you do that, it forces all the water out of the indicator tube and the bubbles it makes don't really do the job you need it to. I had to drill a small hole in the side of the buckets and add an air stone to get this to work properly.Overall, it's not a bad grouping of items you need to make a dwc setup, but it's not complete and not setup properly.

First and foremost, mine came with missing pieces. I ordered four buckets and got three of everything except buckets!Knowing what I now know, I would've built this myself for LESS money(tons of youtube vids on the subject.) Unfortunately, the pump doesn't have individual controls, and you lose pressure if you use less than the number of ports available. So, I bought a new pump with individual controls. For me, it's a no-brainer if all ports are blowing air simultaneously and you are only using two, your hydro setup isn't going to run efficiently.Without some porous device, you don't get quality bubbles to get your plant the oxygen it needs. So I bought an aquarium bubbler/aqua air stone to produce more bubbles. I drilled a new hole to serve that purpose and converted the existing tube to check PH and evacuate water.If you don't want to put in the effort of drilling a few holes, I would buy this kit but be prepared to spend another $40-80 to get the upgrades that will make you grow successful.I don't often leave reviews, so I hope this helps

These buckets are amazing very good for growing hydroponic bubble ponics I love these things I have 12 and it's not enough very easy and I always hated that damn air stone that gets trapped in the roots so these are a great switch to that and eliminating the air stone is very nice change and worth the money for these buckets
