Sylvia Fox's Best Yet
Dang, this book is awesome! Sylvia's best one yet! The storyline/ plot is very entertaining and I love the characters. There were a couple times that the story kinda jumped, leaving out some details but it didn't have a major impact on it. All in all: worthy of 5⭐️s.Samantha is not happy that she is spending the summer after her 3rd year of college at home instead of school where there are more fun things to do but she decides that maybe a summer fling will alleviate any boredom. When she gets home, she learns that her dad's best friend, Ian, their neighbor and Samantha's long time crush is now divorced, making him free for her to pursue. When Sam approaches Ian with a plan to get him dating again, he is quite surprised but goes along with it. What Ian doesn't know is, Sam plans on being the perfect woman for him. What Sam doesn't know is, Ian has been attracted to her for a few years but has now intention of acting on it.His good intentions go out the window when a situation pushes them into kissing and it leads to them in bed together. The next morning arrives bringing lots of questions but few answers. How are Samantha's parents going to react when they find out and is one time enough or do Ian and Sam want more?

Knock, knock...
**3.5 Stars**Sam plans to enjoy her summer before starting her senior year of college, and she doesn't intend to do so by spending it alone or with her parents. She's tired of being by herself, she's looking for more, and when she discovers her long-time crush, Ian, is single, well, that definitely made the drive home worth it.Ian has been attracted to Sam for a few years, but, there's complications. First, he's older, her parents' neighbor, as well as her Dad's best friend, and a recently divorced now single father, whose son is only a few years younger than Sam. When he sees Sam is home, he has to force himself to not think about, drool over, how she's matured, in more ways than one.Sam, not wanting to blurt out what she really wants to -- "Take me, Ian. Make me yours." -- decides to subtly work around to that by acting as if she's coaching him to prepare him for dating again. His ex was high school and college sweetheart, so it's been a while for him... With step one accomplished, Sam moves onto the next one, dinner out, although she plans to ensure she's the only one he sees while they're out.Ian is having trouble keeping his hands to himself, and while he struggles with that during dinner, he and Sam talk, getting to truly know one another as adults. However, the night takes a turn when they see his ex-wife and her boyfriend, the one she cheated on him with. He knows there isn't any way he's going to attempt Sam's plan for him with his ex there, but when Sam acts the part of his date, touching and passionately kissing him, and both are very quickly ready to go somewhere more private. After an explosive night together, both having confessed their long denied desires, they agree they each want to explore what's between them, knowing it's something special. But, as they also know the issues it could create with her parents, they decide to keep their new relationship secret for the time being.Over the weeks, Ian and Sam have only grown closer, and fallen in love, though neither have been able to admit that out loud yet. However, Sam has a surprise for both of them, and she isn't sure how Ian's going to take it.How will Ian react to Sam's news? Will he be happy? What happens when Ian and Sam tell her parents, and his son, Will, about their relationship and impending parenthood? Will Sam's parents and Will be supportive? Will Ian and Sam get their HEA?One-click now and follow along as two people are finally able to act on the attraction between them.**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

Sam and Ian!
Sam is 21 and is headed home for the summer from college. She has been lusting after her dad’s best friend Ian, who is also her parent’s next door neighbor, however he is married and much older and wouldn’t be interested in someone like her.Ian is 42, divorced, and has been attracted to Sam as well however she is off limits as she is his best friend’s daughter. When Sam arrives home, and finds he is single she decides this is her opportunity to have what she always wanted. She offers to be his wingman to get him back in the dating scene and he is happy to spend time with her. A kiss that started out to make his ex jealous turns into them spending the night together and quickly snowballs into them spending the summer together even if they have to do it in secret because of her parents. Everything changes when a surprise occurs but how will her parents and his 15 year old son handle the news? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
