HQKites and Designs 117576 Hydra II 350 R2F Kite

The Hydra 350 gives a good pull while still being forgiving to most pilot error. Being that I'm early in my kiting career this was the perfect kite for me to get a feel for the sport with my buds without having to worry about anyone getting to terribly hurt. (bumps and scrapes have occurred from knuckle-heads having third sets of knuckles rather than brains.)I stand by my purchase as the best purchase one could make if their goal is to one day be the very best (kite surfer..) Like no one ever was.

This is awesome. I wish I found more time to use it. It packs a good punch, but protects you from the danger of a real kite. I have pulled myself around on the snow with skis. It was slow but entertaining.

Couldn't be happier with this Kite! Just getting into the sport and bought the Hydra 350 in april and haven't stopped having fun since; on the beach and in the water body dragging and getting ready to use with my new large size skim-board I just purchased. Looking forward to using it for snow-kiting this winter. Kite is well constructed, very stable in flight and quite easy to learn to fly. Very knowledgeable and responsive customer service as well. I would recommend this kite to anyone!

Hab den Kite jetzt schon eine Zeit lang. Agilität ist nicht so seine Stärke...zumindest nicht in der Anfangskonfiguration...(die Lines waren nicht gleich lang) An Land fliegt er sich ganz ok auch wenn er schon ganz ein nettes Lüftchen braucht um überhaupt abzuheben. Aufm Wasser der totale Reinfall (glaube nicht dass daran meine Anfängerskills Schuld sind) Wenn er einmal im Wasser hängt säuft er sich sofort an und man bekommt ihn nicht mehr gestartet. (vielleicht verhält er sich am See anders..ich war am Meer...da empfiehlt sich doch eher ein Kite mit einer aufblasbaren Tube)

Aquilone ben costruito e facile da usare.Il 5° cavo per recupero / depower funziona molto bene (si riesce a scaricare potenza/ farlo atterrare anche in piena finestra di vento )Bastano 5-6 nodi per farlo alzare, sopra i 20 tira davvero tantoPresente cerniera per "scaricare" in caso di forte vento.
