I have smoked a turkey on the grill for the past six Thanksgiving dinners. This year my wife gave me one of these. Simple, easy to setup and use. No more having to run in and out of the house to physically check the bird every twenty minutes. I smoked a twenty pound bird in about 4.5 hours with just an occasional glance at the thermometer. Alarm went off, indicating the requested temp had been reached. Perfectly done! Definitely would buy again.

I was skeptical because of the cheap price ($15) but I have used it a few times in a smoker and it has worked very well. I see the price is much higher now, so I think I got a great deal.I did a boil test and it was accurate. It was also within a degree or 2 of another digital thermometer.The clip is handy and thus far I have only used it for checking the ambient air temp.The RF display works from a good distance much better than my remote display on Master built smoker.The Interface could be a little better but isn't difficult.

Worked OK 1 time to heat water to 138F, The second use the probe shows at 250F +/- 5F at room temp.That is not good

Works like a charm. I used this on a pork butt in my smoker and you just set it and when the alarm goes off your food is done. Temperature seems to be very accurate.

Works well, but the instructions were real confusing. I was able to figure it out, but for a while thought I was a real dummy after re-reading them several times.
