Unbelievable deal for the price . . .
If you have priced solar fairy lights in the store you know this is a great price. When they arrived in their plain brown box with no label I had an uh-oh moment but I needn't have worried. The lights actually work, and are still working after 5 months of hot sun and rain. The colors are gorgeous - just like their pictures.Luckled's solar lights have continued to impress me. The colors are bright and long lasting - as in, turn on at dusk, still on if I happen to wake up at 3 am and look out my window. The only reason they might go off is if the solar panel flips over. This occasionally happens to me because I do not place the solar stake in the ground because the shrubs I am lighting are so tall I am afraid they would shade out the panel if it were in the ground. So I wedge the panel in the branches where it mostly stays, but not always. (NOTE: Peel off the film off the panel - the directions forget to mention that). At night these lights are spectacular. Neighbors who have seen my yard can't believe these lights are powered by solar panels.I also have 2 strings of Luckled's blue fairy lights (the color is brilliant) and 2 of the white ones (these are a warm white as opposed to a bright white). Equally impressive. The only down side is that the panel edge is a bright yellow and shaped like a sun flower? so it sticks out during the day and clashes with my plants. However, the beauty of the lights at night make up for it.NOTE: I live in central Florida so the panels are in full sun almost every day.

Great outdoor lights!
These lights are very pretty, and they have held up to heavy rains and watering plants practically on top of them. Turn them off while they are charging throughout the day and they will be brighter and last longer at night. I like the easy control panel, and the different effects the lights do. During the day, they catch the sun beautifully.Update, it's been almost 3 months since I purchased these. We have had a ton of rainstorms, and these are still working great! I am pleasantly surprised that they are so waterproof! These have gotten soaked! If you're looking for waterproof lights, these are the ones to get!UPDATE: It has been over 2 years, and these lights are still going strong! We have had several bad hail storms, a freeze, very heavy rain. Still, these light up with no issue! They have also been fine through 100+ degrees!

check the battery if stops working
If your lights don't work (or fail after a short period of time), check the battery. An easy check to see if it is the solar battery or lights themselves - if they quit working - would be to put a regular AA battery in it (although they may not recommend it but it works). If all the lights come on (with a AA battery inserted) then you need a new SOLAR BATTERY. If only a few lights come on (with a AA battery inserted) then the lights are bad.I just got this strand of lights (I have about 6 other strands outside and 4 inside) and these looked really good when tried them out (good solar battery). There are several different modes. Be sure you turn it on before you put it outside, and remember to remove the plastic over the solar panel. You can set the mode you want before you put them outside or wait until dark and then set the mode. (Love these lights - like I said, I have about 6 outside and 4 inside)

bummer they didn't last
Update: these lights worked great for about 2 months --- first the "steady on" option stopped working, and then the entire thing stopped working. - It may have gotten too cold - the lights are so cheap I'd try another set of these to see if they worked better.***original review:Wow these lights are awesome. I didn't have good expectations based on the price but the actual set is really pretty and it functions perfectly. I've had these lights up outdoors for several weeks and they are much prettier in person. In daylight, the lights are a clear pale blue-ish glass look (but the flowers are rubbery material not hard) and look really nice next to vegetation. - At night, they are really lovely. It can be set to steady, flashing (first orange and red and then green and blue) or blinking on and off. I use the steady mode and they're used to decorate a flowering trellis. (since they are LED lights, they don't get hot and can't harm the plants) .Even though this is solar powered, the light burn brightly all night.... I've had to look for critters near dawn and the lights are still glowing brightly! The light sensor in them works perfectly too... if you shine your headlights at the sensor at night the unit instantly shuts off until it's dark again.Pro tip: these are outdoor lights but in the instructions it says that if you have heavy rain or weather to protect the solar cell. -- I put a sandwich bag over it to protect it during watering and forgot and left it on... it works perfectly !

missing manual and user error gets you all the time....
I'm extremely happy with these. My only complaint was that there was no user manual inside so I had to go by user feedback. And because of this, I had no idea there was an on-off on the solar collection spot. My boyfriend found that out last night as we were cleaning up from a get together with friends. So, they are working finely. I've never been so very happy to see how beautiful they are. Its so very difficult to find lights with a purple coloring. A mall we went to earlier had these in white adorning small cherry trees. The blossoms were white even though red or pink would have been better, prettier. I just want to let others know, user error due to no information manual could keep you in the dark. If that's the case, just play with the solar section till you find the on/off switch and a button for changing the color patterns. Can't wait till the next set comes. Also looking forward to these coming in to the house after Christmas. Happy Holidays.

Great, for a minute
While I love these, after only two months they stopped working. At first the lights would stay lit for at least 8 hours, then 5... Then they were out before 9 pm. If there's a sale and you need them for an event, or just a week of use they are beautiful and really easy to play with. Love them! If you're not looking to just throw your money away on a decoration for a few weeks, then move on, these do not last
