BluetteLaundry Bluing, 32-Fluid Ounce (Pack of 12)

Because of the free shipping option that Amazon was offering I went ahead and ordered a full box (pack of 12 32oz bottles). After reading all the reviews I felt confident in doing so.I have gone through a full bottle already and I have to confess I have not noticed even a slight difference on my laundry, the whites did not get aany brighter or whiter. I am disappointed but at this point I am assuming that maybe I am doing something wrong? I read the instructions and added it to the wash cycle taking care not to mix it with bleach. Because I did not notice any improvement I thought I would add it to the rinsing cycle as well. This time the laundry came out bluish colored, meaning that it looks like I washed my whites with some blue garment which colors have run out. I know it was my fault because the instructions clearly state to add the Bluette to your main cycle.Still, I have no idea what I am going to do with the 11 bottles I have left of a product that visibly does not do what it promisses.I would not recomend this product!!

some people dont know what bluing is, but is the best whitener for your clothing, better than bleach. my mom used it with her ringer washer. amazon has everything.

My mother was using Bluette as long as I remember since I was a child. I figured if she used it, it must be good. I have seen a difference between the clothes when I use it and when I don't. I ran out of this product and looked in different supermarkets and could not find it. I then tried Amazon and there I found it! I was happy to find it again! I bought it right on the spot! I hope Amazon continues to stock it. The whites are whiter and the colors are brighter! I use in every load especially with clorine bleach and color safe bleach. My clothes look great! Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I have used this for years. It counteracts the yellowing that sometimes occurs when you use chlorine bleach.I have been unable to find it in my local supermarket, so I bought a case. Just be sure to follow the directions on the bottle.

FOR 40 PLUS years have been using this on my whites cannot find it in any of the local stores, found it here, bought a case of it, from the time my children were in diapers I had compliments on how white they were, my little secret was this fantastic product. Well no more diapers and no more tidy whiteies but any white laundry is looking good and so proud to hang it outside still get compliments on how white my laundry is. I am set for life with the purchase of this case and will even share it with family friends if they ask.

I have a hard time keeping whites white and no detergent helped, including TIDE. I've used various whitening products, including bleach, but decided to try old-fashioned blueing.I really can't see a difference with this product either. I had a bad time finding blueing on line but it was on Amazon. My complaints are that I had to buy so much of it and it has to be mixed with water and added before the clothing is loaded. I have a front-loading machine. If the blueing gets on clothing you will have to use a stain remover and rewash the items. It can't be used with any product containing bleach. I won't buy it again.

best stuff in the world for whiting and brighting clothes,but be sure and follow the directions careful..when it says 1/4 cup it means it..I always mix in a bucket of water before I put in the washer,,do not pour directly on clothes.and shake it up well(the bottle) before you use .
