Steel is really of good quality. Good size. Perfect for a meals to carry.

This item cost more than I really wanted to invest in a lunch container but well worth it. It does not leak. Easy to open and close. Also, easy to clean inside the lid. Other containers I had, it was difficult to clean inside the lid where mold can form.

The owner of the company insists it's stainless Steel. Perhaps it's what she ordered and it got replaced with this. It trusts, thus cannot be stainless.

Other than the hinges being somewhat dinky it's nice. I don't see the hinges lasting for a long time though.

I got this to go in my pack, since it is stainless steel. Anytime I get something that claims to be stainless I get my strongest magnet out to test it. If a magnet sticks to it, then it’s not good stainless material and it will rust. The good news is that the magnet didn’t stick to the surface of this bento box, so it’s not going to rust. It did however just barely stick to the hinges, so it may take some time, but they will eventually rust. I feel like the price point means it should all be stainless steel from start to finish.It doesn’t have any compartments, but it does have a rubber seal all the way around the lid. It seems to be well made and should last a while.I like this bento box for my pack because I can store some food in baggies in it, or medical supplies and keep them dry, and I don’t have to worry about the box rusting. It is also a great way to cook over a campfire of boil water in an emergency situation.Overall, I think this is a solid 5 star bento box that will last you a lifetime if you take care of those hinges.

I know what it’s sold for, food transport, but I got this because it is a great stainless steel dry box, and I use several of these at any given time. Most of the ones I have are plastic, so I was pleased to find this stainless steel Bento box.This box is solid-feeling, not in any way weak or flimsy. The silicone gasket, which is easily removable for washing, is thick and should stand up to years of use. The clasps are spot welded onto the sides of the box in three spots that I can see. The inside is highly polished also, so it is easy to clean if you use it for food, the intended function.It does seal water in, or out perfectly, so it can go into the cooler and keep the contents dry while you’re on the road, in case you travel with heat-sensitive food or medicine. It might even work to keep some secret stuff buried in the backyard; if you do that kind of thing.It seems to be a bit pricey, perhaps, compared to other similar items. But it also appears to be made to last.Overall this is a very sturdy and pretty Bento box. It’s a winner!

I feel a bit mislead. That's on me I didn't read the description properly, but when you hear the word "bento" you automatically think there will be sections and compartments. This is just one big box.The overall quality is pretty good but I don't believe its a 100% leak proof.

I really like this large sturdy stainless steel container because there are no dividers inside of it. So I can pack a large amount of leftovers or whatever all in one big container. My only complaint is there was a big sticky sticker on the bottom. I had to use special solvent to get it off.
