My son often lies on vouch with this blanket over him whilst he’s chilling.(He has autism and dyslexia). I find the blanket can ground him.

My son is a very restless sleeper. His sleep is often disturbed because he kicks off blankets or falls out of bed. His lack of sleep was ruining our lives!!! He was tired and stroppy all the time so we had to try a weighted blanket. I thought he would hate it because he doesn't like to be touched or cuddled. He LOVED IT and especially likes the softer side. He races to bed and asks for his blanket. He stays in bed all night. Even if he needs the toilet in the night he now chooses to go back to his own bed just for his special blanket. Strongly recommend!!!

I have the pink blanket, One side is velvety and it’s lovely quality and even looks nice as a throw on the bed. I’m 9st 7lbs and have the 7kg version. I tried it out for a siesta, fell asleep right away and slept soundly for 2 hours, waking up feeling relaxed and refreshed. For me a weighted blanket works, I fall asleep soundly and quickly and Wake up feeling rested. It’s like a big hug and calming, I’ve had a bit of stress and anxiety so this is one of a number of positive lifestyle changes I’ve made. It’s dry clean only or wipe with a damp cloth. I have a cat who sometimes jumps up with muddy paws so perhaps getting one with a cover might have been more sensible - but I like the velvety fabric, the colour, the quality and especially the price.

Warm and comforting, remain sceptical of the sleep claims

This product did take a bit of getting used to as I wasn’t used to that much pressure on me whilst sleeping however after weeks of disturbed sleep I purchased this on a whim. I had brilliant sleep for the first time in ages! Provides a lot of comfort and I now sleep through the night

This blanket is lovely and soft, it is weighted like it says, but unfortunately for us, it doesn't work for my daughter! I brought the weight it recommends for my daughters age but she still takes as long to get to sleep. Oh well! Back to the drawing board.

Lovely quality, blanket has a cotton side and velour side. I bought the pink 7kg size which is perfect for me at 10 stone. Feels heavy enough for a comforting weight over my duvet but not restrictive. Glass beads inside are tiny and well surrounded with padding so not obvious to the touch. All in all this was a great buy, cheaper than lots of other makes but a nice product

This was purchased for our youngest daughter who is very fidgety and has problems settling also has trouble sleeping and is a bit of an over thinker particularly at night. She uses this as a cover to watch tv, to sleep with also and loves it. Now thinking about getting heavier ones for the adults and her older sisters..
