Fantastic and it’s as the description says. I love it and will buy more blades from Nazarov Knives. It’s one of the most trusted genuine Damascus steel makers out there.Which means, it needs more care so try to maintain it. If you use it to cut food, use organic oil, just saying, other people don’t pay attention to what kind of oil and or wax they use to suit what they’re using their blades for.Also the blade comes in a good sharp condition. You can always sharpen it more yourself if you’re not satisfied.

I have a large collection of high end survival blades and I run a small tactical shop. I have to say that I am splendidly surprised! The knife arrived shaving sharp and every little detail of the finish was perfect! No rough factory grind here! The edge is polished and even on both sides. The sheath is high grade leather and very well made!!!! This is a high quality piece!!!

typing with one hand after redoing lace in the handle, after tying the knot, the snapping force pulled the blade out of the sheath and went straight into my pinky right under the nail- at least a quarter inch down. learned a very valuable lesson and hoping my healing process is fast- the cut was the definition of razor sharp, very scary experience. first cut of the blade nearly chopped my finger like a carrot. treat the knife like a firearm.. its a dangerous weapon and efficient tool, treat it as such. wear gloves

This is not at all what I expected. There are many things I don't like about this knife. Firstly the balance is horrible and I can't tell if the cross gaurd is metal or plastic. I'm positive if I put any force on the blade and handle it feels like it would snap. Seems like it's not full tang either. I'm not just gonna rip apart another's hard work. The blade does seem well made and holds an edge so far. The handle other than that one issue is great. If your looking for a lighter weight knife this is the one for you. I'll also admit to being very picky about my knives. This blade is only to be used for cutting and is fantastic at that lol.

i was completely surprised when i saw the workmanship in this knifei usually do not buy any of my knives that are not made in the USA,but this one has the quality of one that is made here.

A great knife. Light weight, handle fits hand perfectly (I have large hands). Balance is shifted toward the handle (center of balance is approximately 1/2 inch on the handle right past the guard. Considering that this is not a throwing knife, I actually prefer the slightly heavier handle, so, this is perfect to me. The knife is sharp out of the box - shaved a small match on my arm effortlessly. Exactly what I was looking for, a light cuttin tool - very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased for camping and hunting. Good materials and quality control. The 5.25 inch blade is an excellent size for my all around use without being too big. Sharp edge straight from the box. The stacked birchbark handle is cork-like which promotes a good grip and feels good. The knife is relatively light for its size, which was an advantage to me. Leather sheath is robust, secure and well made. There are lower cost alternatives available, however the overall quality of this knife makes the extra cost very worthwhile. In the end, I chose this knife over a competitor made in Scandinavia, and I am happy with my decision.

This knife is very well made. It feels like a natural fit in my hand. It is very sharp. The craftsmanship is outstanding. So far so good. The leather sheath is nice. It is lighter then my survival knife which is good because I wanted something to carry around town that was lighter weight. It should last a long time if you care for it.
