My Body Belongs to Me: A Book About Body Boundaries

I just received this awesome book today, and was so excited that I took my lunch just to read it. As a mother of four children raging from 20-1. I am excited to introduce my one year old to this discussion. I'm sure he won't understand right away but the more we speak on body boundaries the easier it will be for him as he continues to grow. I honestly wish that my other children would have had a great tool like this book growing up. Children need to know that it's their body and there are boundaries that need to be respected. Even for us adults.I absolutely love the homework for parents and caregivers. Taking the neccessary steps to ensure children safety is very important.Thank you for this book. Hope there will be more educational childrens book in the future. 😉

As a parent it’s hard to bring up tough subjects. But reading this book to a 3 and 5 year old was a good ice breaker. I love how there were questions to ask children through out so they could interact and have a chance to ask questions themselves. The illustration was done beautifully and kept my kids interested. This is a great book to have in my collection!!! Thank you Lisa for an outstanding job well done!

This book is excellent for kids because it’s explains the importance of their body in a way they understand. The art in this book is also really adorable and appealing to kids as well. The message of this book is very a important message for kids to learn and teaches it well. Kids need to learn about the importance of their body and how to respect their body and this book does a fantastic job of doing so.

I was trying to find a way to talk to my 5 year old about this topic and I couldn't figure out how to start. This book helped me get the conversation going and my son was very engaged in it. I am so thankful that Lisa made a book like this. Thank you so much for making a hard topic easier to talk about. I definitely recommend this book.

I am a Pre-K teacher and have found that this is a difficult topic to talk to my kiddos about. This book helped make the topic kid friendly and really facilitated a conversation with my whole class. They loved that the characters were animals. The open ended questions on some of the pages really helped facilitate conversation.
