OK for Zoom from home meetings. But no controls
PRO:* Acceptable resolution . Color, on my end, appears OK.* Reasonable price point* Easy "plug and play" installation* Reasonable sound replicationCON:* Manual is useless* There are no controls like on/off for camera and mike. (I hang a post-it-note over the lens when not in use.) In other words, the thing is always ON. Pulling the USB plug out is so kludge. Watch what you do and say.

Worked great!
Took a chance as the first buyer. This camera works like a charm! One of our laptops had an internal camera that a tech specialist spent an hour working on it (and he's REALLY good) to no avail. SO I ordered this because it was needed quickly and was at least a 720p. Plugged it in... went to webcamtests,com to test it, and it worked perfectly! I recommend it!

Cannot turn camera off!! Always on unless usb unplugged!!
The CAMERA WILL NOT TURN OFF!!! That is just plain unsettling to say the least! I have to unplug the USB and then remember to plug it in before each use. The camera did set up quickly (literally plug and play) and does what it should for a $30 electronic, meaning people can see me when I'm on a video chat. However, even for only $30 the fact that I cannot turn the camera off, ever, even when all video apps are closed that would potentially be using it, is a deal breaker. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA UNLESS YOU NEVER EVER WANT PRIVACY!!! Also, if I plug it in during a video chat (even if I have the video set to 'do not show' the camera starts up immediately and overrides any 'audio only' settings I have in the app at that time!!! Also unsettling since I discovered that by mistake about halfway through an online chat!!! I'd return it but the time period has passed. FYI, I'm on an HP Spectre laptop using Windows 10.

Poor image and color.
This camera has a poorer image than a laptop's built-in camera. The image is overexposed and tinted green. There are no direction on how to adjust and no software. When I tried to return it, they told me to download the software but did not tell me what kind. It is obvious that they do not honor returns. So now I have a $35 paperweight.

Works pretty well for intended use
Took a long time to get here, but camera does work OK windows 10. Not great, but OK. View angle is about 50-60 degrees I estimate. Sound volume is always low, even when turned all the way up in volume control. Plastic two axis adjustment mount is pretty flimsy, will likely break if not careful with use and handling. For the price, is adequate for home usage during covid, just what I was looking for.

Color is bad.
This webcam is cheap and performs the job I bought it for, which was video meetings just fine. Discord seems to expect too much from it and it constantly flashes green during a discord video chat. Zoom and skype appear to be fine. The color is terrible. Incredibly washed out and white as if I'm under hospital lighting. It uses a built in driver from windows so there doesn't appear to be any way to adjust any of the settings.It uses a counterweight to sit on your monitor which is kind of nice as it is easily adjustable and doesn't scratch or mar the monitor bezel. Again color is really bad but for the price and limited job requirements in my case it works good enough.

For a basic webcam with mediocre resolution, look no further
With COVID-19, my 6 year old had remote learning via Zoom. Our desktop PC didn't have a webcam or mic and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a kid's camera (my laptop and MacBook have built in HD, 1080p cameras).This webcam was easy to install and was plug and play. There was no configuration or setup and that was a pity. The picture quality, white balance and resolution were mediocre at best. I think it was more 480p than 720p.But, it got my son through an abridged school year and the mic function also works without the camera on so he can speak to text in a MS Word document.The built in holder doesn't attach well to a curved monitor so once it's installed, you're better off not messing with it.For a cheap, no frills cam for simple Zoom calls or webinars, it'll do. But if you need more resolution, buy something else.

Camera is great! Everything it relays is in a beautiful Ice blue!!!
For the most part i like this camera. It has great resolution and is extremely easy to install. However the one pet peeve that i have about this camera has major color problems. everything comes out in with a faded blue tint that is so miss colored that eyes come through as pure black. and skill looks sickly deoxidized blue. I have tried using different lighting environments and the results are all the same. Even ended up buying a ring light. Nothing Helps! If anyone know how to change that let me know please! Otherwise do not recommend for zoom meetings unless you want to look like a sickly vampire on zoom meeting.
