Not a complaint, just wish the size was 12x12
I put photos into a scrapbook 12x12, the size is really for a 3 ring binder, smaller in size. The pictures fit great but the page was smaller. The plastic pages are great quality, I wish they made them in a 12x12 size.

Most 3x5 pockets are designed for horizontal viewing.

Perfect for photos
This style is great for keeping photos protected. Much better than the peel-7-stick type that stick to the photos over the years and make it almost impossible to remove.

Falls apart easily
Unfortunately, as soon as I started putting photos in, the boarders between the photos began peaking away and no longer hold the photos tightly.

Bi-directional
These work well with bi-directional slots to hold vertical and horizontal photos on the same page.

These rip easy.
I have bought BCW products before, these photo sleeves very disappointing. The pockets can rip very easily when inserting or removing photos. Not durable at all and cannot recommend. The issue I found is that these also stick out the front of 3 ring binders by 1/2 an inch.
