First off, sturdy construction and fit. Not an exact copy of the original, but a highly functional reproduction. Blade was delivered with a sharp cutting edge. I highly recommend this bayonet for the serious historian who don't want to damage an authentic bayonet.

i bought this so i would have one and i didn’t want to spend $200 on an original. it fits my m1 garand good, doesn’t slide all the way down enough to lock, but it fits tight enough it won’t come off, it is great for looks, maybe stabbing melons. if you needed it for real, i would only trust it once.

Got it as a gift for my brother who’s a big war enthusiast. He loves it.

Works as a prop replica by itself, but does not fit any service rifle, so does not function as advertised as a "bayonet", only a large knife.Also, the worst part, they do not ship in discreet packaging, so everybody can see from very far away that there is a scary looking weapon sitting on your porch, very unprofessionally shipped! They just slap a sticker on the box, ruining it, and throw it in the mail. Please box and package things you ship at the very minimum!

Actually it’s really well made, love the look of it and feel. The only people who would complain about this item would be people who fought with bayonets.
