Wi Fi OK
The networking software doesn't seem to work correctly. I am able to get online via wi-fi, but I cannot choose which network I want to use. The manufacturer wasn't able to help. Otherwise it does work when online.

Jackpot!
I'm typing this review with my (wireless) pda right now! For such a cheap price you can't beat the convenience of wifi internet. The connection is fast (good enough to surf and listen to web radio like i am now!) and has a good range and doesn't suck much power. Plus the antenna is tiny. Go for it!

Didn't work well with my Dell Axim X3
I've enjoyed owning my Dell Axim X3 since 2004, but wanted to upgrade to a device able to access wi-fi hotspots. Since my existing device is still in great working order, it seemed a shame to spend money on a new PDA - only for the added functionality of being able to connect to wireless networks. Thus, this SDIO WLAN seemed to offer a good solution. Although the card did work on my home network, I found the speed to be quite slow, and the PDA often froze and would require a soft reset. Also, it seems to take a long time to connect to the network. The card drains the battery very quickly. I'm not sure if these problems are attributable to the age of the PDA or rather to the WLAN card itself, but I think that if my PDA is unable to handle the demands placed on it by the card, then this negates the usefulness of the card - as later PDA models were probably being custom-fitted with the capability of connecting to wireless networks anyway. Perhaps the card works well with other PDA models, but based on my experience, I wish I hadn't spent my money on this.

Excellent WLAN card, Poor documentation
I tried to use the WiFi card in my PDA in some major airports. The card picked up the available signals wonderfully. Unfortunately the Free Public Access Points were not available either in the Chicago or in the Denver airports. So my hopes to download emails or use Skype to call were not fulfilled. At home with my own WiFi network the 802.11b has all the speed my PDA will ever need. The card does not come with the necessary amount of information about how to setup your wireless security for your PDA. I needed to find it from other sources before I got it work.
