The Perfect Housewife - Complete Series 1 [2007] [DVD]

I found this dvd really useful when I moved into my new house, so much so, I bought the second series as well. Much to some groans from my boyfriend when I put it in the dvd player. But her tips are very handy and I even heard my boyfriend muttering that we need some baskets as I found him sorting out our linen cupboard, which made me laugh - a lot. (He's not the organising type)It's full of handy hints about cleaning and being organised and the narrator is a bit cheeky about Anthea being perfect, which makes you feel better. I was not an Anthea fan before this but now I am a bit of a convert and take pride in having a clean and tidy house, whereas before, i thought there were more important things in life and it didn't really matter too much. She has made me think a lot differently about dust and that everyone deserves to live in a nice environment. My boyfriend no longer moans when the dvd goes on as he knows a a little whirlwind of tidying and cleaning will follow.

A delight to watch someone who knows exactly what she's talking about. I also enjoy the many tips for hostessing too <3I am a huge Anthea Turner fan - now and always <3

Overall motivating to keep your house sparkling clean BUT very much for the Housewifes as the title suggest, defenitely you won't be able to pull the perfect cleaning like that if you are working wife and mum, so don't get depresed looking at the super perfect house of the show hostess!But defenitely provides with lots of useful tips and ideas to keep your house nice and clean.

Learning how to fold towels has changed my chaotic life. Yes, really. I'd love to see Anthea do a straightforward 'how to do this' type show, as I found the 'competition' between the housewives boring and useless - I just want to learn how to do stuff and would love to see more of that. I also could have done without the cooking/entertaining part.

Found this DVD very inspiring. Sadly my home does not have the space that Anthea has plus kids into the bargain, however, I found the series encouraged me to sort my home out, some of the hints and tips have been very useful. It doesn't take long to fall off the wagon again, so will definitely watch again!

i can't stand this woman but she has got a reputation as the perfect housewife so when i considered getting married i thought i'd check if i could improve and there are some pretty good tips, l love the way she folds towels!
