The candles had a extra yellow sealant on the bottoms was not to appealing

Why I got these: I'm making ornaments consisting of clear glass bowls of various styles as well as cylindrical clear cases containing pretty rocks, pieces of fan coral or twigs, a marimo ball or two, and a floating candle on top. Saw it on Pinterest, had to do it, and it is a unique "thinking of you" gift that can be incredibly unique and not cliché. (By the way, you can google "Marimo ball ornament or marimo ball decoration to see many takes on this. Oh, and considering the bowls and bases are $1 apiece at Dollar Tree as well as rocks, etc...it looks expensive without having to be.**** I highly recommend Luffy Marimo Balls sold here on Amazon. They arrived absolutely perfect and you can get 4 or 5 large ones for under $10 total. That's usually what only ONE costs on CLEARANCE in many stores.So I sought these floating candles and am happy to say these don't do what lower quality ones do, such as burning unevenly or dropping wax to the side and ruining the effect on top of creating a job for SAID gift recipient other than changing the marimo's water.They also were wonderful in my garden tub for a self indulgent soak, as well as in the pool for a recent outdoor party. Many, many uses.

They fit nicely into the cases however of the 2 packs I bought, 3 or 4 in each pack came broken

I used these for 3 different centerpieces for my Christmas dinner. The first was a stainless steel tree with small candle holders. They fit perfectly in the half rounds, but they did drip. I also used them as floaters in mason jars with pine sprigs, cranberries, and water in pint mason jars. (Super cool.) They worked perfectly. I also put them on a plate with cranberries and pine sprigs. They dripped there just a bit. They were smokeless. I ordered another set.

These did very well.

Perfect in size and description. About three were discolored (orange ish color on sides) and I receive 18 out of 24.

Worked pretty well…used them for New Years eve party for use with an indoor koi pond. Captivated the little kids and was a nice touch. They didn't leak wax all over the pool, so long as they were placed gently onto the water. When removed from the water to be relit (baby blew a couple of them out), had to be careful not to spill any of the melted wax into the pool. Didn't last terribly long…not sure that they burned for the full 4 hours, I think at least 3 hours though. It was a nice effect overall and a novelty worth splurging on every once in a great while for cherished visitors to the home.

These candles are advertised to have an approximate burning time of 4 hours. When we used them they only burned for less than 3 hours. We can buy them locally that burn for 4-5 hours. Would not order them again for this reason.
