Gross texture. Nothing like real pasta.
Gross. It doesn't really have any flavor at all but the texture made it impossible to eat. The noodles are very firm but super slick and slippery so while trying to chew they slide around in your mouth and feel slimy. Made me feel like I was eating worms.

Four Stars
It's one of the best substitutes I've tried. Chewy but a great alternative to pasta.

Not a Good Alternative to Pasta
These are so gross! I follow a keto diet and I was looking for a low carb alternative to pasta when I decided to buy this. I tried to add spices to to, cook it for a while, however, I couldn’t bring myself to finish my place because the dish was quite disgusting and disappointing. I guess this is okay for some people but if you’re looking for a good alternative to pasta, don’t waste your money.

Great for adding variety to a low carb diet
I have used the spaghetti shape of these noodles and they are not a bad low-carb substitute for real pasta - especially if you don't mind your noodles being a little "al dente." They are always going to have some resistance when you bite into them, so if you like your pasta to be overcooked you will probably not like these.I was prepared for bad smell or bad texture based on some of what I have read about low-carb noodles, but the pasta zero had very little smell even before draining and rinsing and the texture was nothing unpleasant. I used them in an alfredo recipe with plenty of sauce - the amount of sauce may make a difference. I'm not sure if they would have fared as well with very little sauce.I noticed these are totally different from the "miracle noodles" in terms of ingredients - so that may be why these do not smell. They also have a small amount of net carbs - 2g per bag where some of the other brands advertise none at all.I will definitely use more of these in low carb meals and look for some different pasta shapes to try.

If you can get past the smell
I did find it a little bit smelly before rinsing, but not unbearable. By the time the sauce was on it, that smell was gone.I tasted a piece without sauce on it and it was as bland as pasta without sauce on it. Not much different. As far as the texture. If you rinse it and sauce it, it isn't much different from pasta. I agree with the person who said that it is closer to al dente white noodles.I liked that I could just drain it, rinse it and microwave for 2 minutes. Easy peasy. It seemed to fill me up more than pasta does. I often eat larger servings of pasta, but I really felt like my stomach was full at a certain point.

THESE ARE $2.28 FOR 1 CUP OF NOODLES - LEAN CUISINE'S ARE $2.50 FOR AN ENTIRE DINNER
The rubber band like texture of this "pasta" is not the worst part about it, nor is the smell. I could learn to live with both of these things as I am an open minded eater and pride myself on trying new foods. The worst part about this "pasta" is the price. What you get after rinsing, boiling and then dry frying in a pan is about 1 cup of noodles. Don't forget you have to add sauce of some sort or another once you have them ready. I bought 3 packs of these noodles and the cost was 6.84 ( each pack being one cup of noodles ) These things have no nutritive value, only one gram of protein per serving and are basically the same as eating paper. As I was walking down the aisle, I happened to pass by the lean cuisines which had dinners like meat loaf, sweet and spicy beef, a myriad of other meals, all with sides, all with far more protein ( and I mean a LOT more ) all of them far more filling than one cup of noodles which had to be rinsed, boiled and pan fried before eating, don't forget you have to buy additional sauce to flavor them with as they are flavorless. The cost of the Lean Cuisine's was 2.50 a meal. Did I mention they can all be microwaved in 5 minutes? By the time you buy or make the additional sauce to flavor these noodles, you are paying more for a cup of noodles than an entire Lean Cuisine meal. My husband was curious and asking me about these noodles and I told him they are flavorless and basically have zero nutrients( he said maybe that's why they call it pasta zero ) I wont buy these again unless they lower the price ( a lot )
