FINALLY!!!A sugar free (ish) BBQ sauce that doesn't taste like watery ketchup. It's about time.I'm diabetic and really try to be compliant. But, for Pete's sake, I'm Southern. We have to have BBQ on a regular basis or we die.Now, if you're a SC kid, you're okay. Most of that sauce is mustard and vinegar. But, I'm an East TN girl, and our is all about sweet and smoke. So, it's terrible for you. Most sauces are almost pure carbs. I can eat them all day long, but I pay with blood sugars through the roof. Not a good trade. :(So, I saw this and thought I'd try. Absolutely Amazing!! It has the sweet tang, and the slight smokiness, that I crave. It's a good thick sauce (no dripping off your elbows, thank you), and stands up to sandwiches, and to being in a crock pot all day. The flavor is amazing even after being exposed to heat for a long period of time, which is where so many diabetic foods fail.My family ate this, and had no idea it was low sugar. So, that's some high praise. If I had any request, I'd make it a tiny bit smokier, but that's easy to accomplish by adding a tiny amount of liquid smoke to the mix! So, even with this recipe, if it never gets tweaked, I'll still be happily consuming it!Thanks for making something delicious for diabetics. My blood sugars and my palate thank you!

Hands down the absolute worst sugar free bbq sauce I have ever tasted, can I give it 1/3 or a star? It has the texture and taste of watered down sriracha with a touch of liquid smoke. Since I am a diabetic and a Bariatric surgery patient, I made a 50/50 mix with reg bbq sauce, since I can only eat about 2oz of meat at a time, the little bit of reg sauce wont hurt, but alone this stuff is NOT good

Love these BBQ sauces from Simple Girl. Made with stevia, very low cal, the taste is great. Since I've been underwhelmed with the simple girl salad dressings, I was really happy with these sauces. Love them on veggies, as well as meat. The price is pretty steep for what you get, but I do love them...

If you are on a diet and can't have any sauce with your meat, this will make it taste A LOT better! In my opinion it can be used as steak sauce also

Weak flavor and not thick as expected - but worked out well in the crockpot for a pork stew.

I like it. Its not like regular BBQ sauce - thick and full of sugar - but its good. A little goes a long way so this bottle will last a long time. There's a little of an aftertaste but its not bad - its just unexpected since regular BBQ sauce doesn't have one.
