Yummers
I use energy drinks occasionally for, well, energy. I've never chosen to drink one for "pleasure". This stuff is a game changer. I would drink one in a boat, I would drink one with a goat. I would drink one in a car, I would even drink one in a bar! Delicious. Refreshing. An Effervescent palate pleaser. I don't habitually spout off about beverages all willy nilly like this...But I'm enamoured. Hehe!

Shoots for the moon, and hits it dead center.
I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I prefer my caffeine fruit-flavored and carbonated. I'm not big on artificial flavors or HFCS either. So when I saw Moonshot it was immediately intriguing. Previously my beverage of choice was Amp or Mountain Dew, because they're flavored with orange juice (it's true, check the label!). Moonshot beats them hands down.I first purchased their variety pack, 2 each of 6 flavors. Not everything was my cup of tea, but I was impressed by how bright and flavorful they all were, even the Lite Pomegranate. Stevia is better than aspartame or Nutraweet, but I'm afraid I'm addicted to good old sugarcaine. The Lite Pomegranate was okay, but didn't really hit the spot for me. I gave the 2nd can to a co-worker, who thought it was "too sweet". Oh, well. Honey Peach and Coconut Pineapple were both quite good but not my personal preference. Peach is a flavor I really have to be in the mood for, and while there was nothing wrong with Coconut Pineapple, it just didn't grab me the way some of the other flavors did.The Sour Apple really surprised me. If sour is your thing then this is the flavor for you, they balanced the sour against the sweet just perfectly. Nice to get that strong of a sour flavor without your tongue getting beaten up like it does with sour candy. The Tart Cherry is great! Although I do have to confess I didn't like it at first. The first can I tried while I was eating something that kind of masked the flavor, and I was really disappointed. I'm a big fan of cherry and it seemed like the flavor was almost non-existent. The second can was much better. The flavor really comes through in the after taste, so it's better to sip this one. Which I have to constantly remind myself, as I have a tendency to guzzle it if I'm not paying attention. Slower drinking is rewarded with greater flavor.Ah, but my favorite is the Orange Grapefruit. I'm a citrus guy; orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit are all right in my wheelhouse. I don't drink orange juice so much as I inhale it. And while I like grapefruit sodas like Squirt, I've never been able to enjoy grapefruit or grapefruit juice the way I do other citrus. Moonshot has done the miraculous (to me), their Orange Grapefruit is perfectly balanced so I get a strong grapefruit flavor without the bitter aftertaste. I drank the first can in amazement, then the second warily in case it was a fluke (it wasn't). When I finished the variety case I ordered a case of the Orange Grapefruit, and enjoyed every can.Moonshot is an energy drink, and it doesn't disappoint there, either. It wakes me up without making me feel jittery like I get from other energy drinks sometimes. I kind of wish the cans were bigger, but that's just because I'm greedy. It's actually nice that it's a 1 serving can and not 2. And maybe the 12 ounce size is why I don't get the jitters, so there's that. My biggest complaint is it's not available locally, but that's my fault for not living in Austin, I guess. And I can get them from Amazon (obviously) so even that isn't that big a deal. All in all, a really good product. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

#2 Tart Cherry is a great pick-me-up when I'm tired of black coffee
Cherry is one of my favorite flavors, whether I’m drinking Cheribundi Tart Cherry Juice or Tart Is Smart Black Cherry Juice Concentrate or eating Betty Lou's Cherry Fruit Bars or Mussini Cherries and Balsamic Vinegar Compote .I stumbled across MOONSHOT Sparkling Tart Cherry Energy Drink on Amazon.com while preparing our monthly Subscribe & Save order. I noticed most of the reviews were for the variety pack but I chose to buy 12 cans of #2 Tart Cherry flavor (30% juice, 115mg caffeine, 170 calories, pure cane sugar, and no artificial flavors). The order worked out to roughly $2 per can.I shared two cans with younger co-workers who I often see walking the hallways with 16-ounce cans of Monster energy drinks. They both gave it thumbs up.It took me another month to finish off the other 10 cans. I get most of my caffeine from black coffee. I don’t care for most American-made energy drinks, though I used to drink Japanese energy drinks when I worked overseas. I prefer the size of Japanese energy drinks, which are usually less than 150ml, versus the huge cans popular in the states. MOONSHOT is 12 ounces, so I sip it over several hours. Still, it is 25% smaller than Monster drinks and I appreciate that.I so enjoyed the #2 Tart Cherry that I’ve placed a new order for the MOONSHOT variety pack. I’m most looking forward to #1 Sour Apple and #4 Honey Peach but I’m curious to try #3 Orange Grapefruit, #5 Coconut Pineapple and #6 Lite Pomegranate as well.Good stuff.

I'm a changed man.
I am a changed man. Being a drinker of NoFear Bloodshots and then the original NOS I was scouring the net for something new. I stumbled onto MOONSHOT and was impressed with what I read. Ordered a case of the Tart Cherry and whoa, I was blown away by the taste. Has to be the best tasting energy drink on the market. None of that chemical aftertaste. The Tart Cherry is TART. Ordering a case of the orange grapefruit, can't wait to try it. Hopefully some distributor here in Charlotte will pick up MOONSHOT, if not then I will certainly continue ordering online. If you're looking for something new in an energy drink then you owe it to yourself to give this bad boy a shot. You won't be disappointed.William Phillips

Some packaging issues but great refreshing product
These are great tasting energy drinks, very drinkable, if anything I wish they were larger (16 oz size like Amp/Monster).The flavors are great. The Lite one is my least favorite, it doesn't have that aftertaste that normal light energy drinks do, but it just tastes off compared to the others. They are all very light and drinkable, reminds me of the Orangina style seltzer fruit drinks. You can really taste the peach/cherry/coconut and it tastes natural. The packaging is a little subpar. Arrived ok, but all the cans were banged up to some degree or other, some very dented but still usable and not broken. Two cans were sticky with something, but the cans were not punctured so I assume they were from the manufacturing line somewhere.I don't know if they are worth the high price tag long term (12 oz cans for a little bit more per can than 16 oz Amps), but they are refreshing and worth a try.As far as energy it packed about the same kick as an Amp, but was lighter on the accompanying sugar high. This would not be my first pick if I needed max energy to stay up, but for just a mid afternoon pick me up it is perfect.
