The Aurora Sport IR Night Vision Camera from SiOnyx is compact, lightweight and has a waterproof rating of IP67, suitable for fishing, boating, watersports, hunting, hiking, nature watching, and other outdoor activities. The Aurora uses a 1" type CMOS sensor to record up to 720p video and 0.9MP stills for low-light imaging. The Aurora Sport's OLED viewfinder lets you view your activities in color or monochrome. You can also use the Aurora app and your iOS/Android smartphone for camera control, remote viewing, and to share images. A diopter on the EVF offers a sharp view for users with and without corrective lenses. Features include Daytime, Twilight, and Night modes with the white balance set automatically to each mode. A focus peaking function and a manual focus ring are used to keep your images sharp down to 1'. Exceeded Expectations
I bought this as a less expensive alternative to PVS style night vision. In addition to producing excellent images under a starlit sky I was pleased to be able to easily capture the images on a micro SD card. As an amateur astronomer I am amazed with all of stars I can see using the device that I can not see with the naked eye. As with any night vision, under very dark skies an IR light may be required. A slight disappointment was that it did not come with the neck strap and microfiber storage that the more expensive models come with.

Excellent product. The app has a lag but if you stay away from anything with a Bluetooth signal, I found it greatly reduces the lag.
