Ring Product Support is Excellent
Original Review (1 star):I purchased this Ring keypad (2nd gen.) on March 10, 2024 and it stopped working after 4 months of use. The Ring keypad will not light up and will not charge. I have three other Ring Keypads that are working O.K.Update 7/26/24:After posting the review above, Matthew from Ring contacted me to help get my Ring keypad operating again. We troubleshooted the Ring keypad for a few minutes and Matthew decided that I needed a new Ring keypad. A new Ring keypad was mailed to me at no cost. I installed it today and it is working well. Matthew provided a prepaid mailing label and I mailed the old Ring keypad back to him. Ring product support was excellent!

Great customer service.
The unit I had installed ended up with a defective battery. I was not happy but was able to speak with support and they did a warranty exchange on it. That is why I recommend the ring system.

Amazingly easy to install and set up
I bought 3 of these. One for each door and one for the bedroom and they are incredibly easy to set up, they connect with no hassle and they "just work". I always had the professional alarm systems and was skeptical of these set up yourself, wifi alarms. But the ease with which this set up, connected and worked made me a believer in the DIY alarm set up. I also discovered that they did not have to be plugged in and work on a rechargable battery that is in the keypad. So, the set up look is incredibly clean. I have had them hooked up since right after Christmas and the batteries are still close to 100%. To prolong the charge, keep the motion sensor part off if the keypad is in an area with a lot of motion (i.e., bedroom etc.).
