Great Podcast mic, decent price
I’ve been a fan of Heil microphones of different kinds. But, when we had some podcast equipment stolen, Bob Heil himself sent us two of these PR781s to help replace the 4 Shure SM 7s we lost. We needed to round out our podcast mic situation, so I purchased two more PR 781s. Great sound, small size and decent price. Highly recommend.

Shipment delivered on Sunday!
Ordered HF rig on 11/24. Ordered Heil PR-71 Mic on 11/26. Received Mic shipment on 11/28. Now how's that for service? Great packaging BTW. Not one made in CHINA label found on Mic. Can't rate Heil Mic yet, haven't received HF rig as of 11/29.I'm sure mic will be fantastic. Tried friends rig with exact same setup and it was outstanding!

Superb studio sound.; a lot of punch and presence microphone
It is an exellent studio mike , I have received slot of complements after I installed. This mic on my Ham radio shack

No PR-40 envy here......
I really wanted the PR-40 to record my podcast, but couldn't drop the $300+. So I googled other Heil mics and this came up. Did some research and grabbed it. Paid $180 for it and haven't regretted it one bit. The sound is great. The PR definitely stands for professional on this one.

Che dire di un microfono della Heil sound?!? Il meglio sul mio ic7610. Ho anche tolto l'equalizzatore esterno. Credo che il prezzo sia elevato su amazon rispetto alla media. Io ho approfittato di un bonus omaggio
