For standard sized mason jars
These lids are very useful. I have numerous mason jars whose metal lids have corroded and been thrown out. I can now use the jars again!

Perfect fit
I bought these,not sure if they would fit some old Kilner presrve jars I was given.They had been used with the metal screw on bands and seals.I wanted some reusable lids.They fit perfectly and kept my pickled gherkins sealed nicely.

Weird fit
I have two sizes of Ball Jars, 490 and 710 ml. While the capacity is different, they have the same size mouth and identical lids. For some reason, these lids fit perfectly on the 710 ml, but are really hard to put on and take off for the 490ml. It's puzzling and it makes them basically as obnoxious as the two part lids I cannot stand.

So practical
I love using these with my mason jars in the fridge. Much easier to use than the standard metal two piece lids that they come with.

Great alternative to the rusty metal lids
They fit perfectly on Kilner jars with 70mm mouth. Very happy.
