2nd one I've bought, first one quit charging within a week or so, this one quit just after the return window closed of course! I will never buy another one, I guess you get what you pay for - never again!

This charger lasted a year for me. I knew when I purchased it not to expect much from it because it is cheaply made. Eventually, I saw sparks coming from the end that connects to the laptop and it stopped working. More importantly, however, as another reviewer stated, this device seems to cycle the battery incorrectly. My battery is showing the "Service Battery" notification now, and the cycling is off. I am going to do a full cycle with the proper Apple charger and hope it fixes itself. Just spend the few extra dollars for either a better knock off or an official charger.

My husband left his power charger when traveling and needed another one QUICK and he didn't want to pay as much as the APPLE peeps were asking. This came quick (Prime) and has worked well so far (it hasn't blown up or lit his laptop on fire). It seems to charge as fast as the APPLE cord and doesn't get hot. So far so good.

This cord was delivered Nov 29, 2017 and had ceased to work by Mar 10, 2018. When it first arrived, I was impressed with how it looked in comparison to one I had previously bought for my wife's MacBook, but hers is the one I am using today because this one died after a few months while hers has continued to work for about two years so far.

The charger buzzes, as opposed to the original Mac brand which is silent. But most importantly, after using this for a month, my battery went from perfectly fine to the "service battery" warning, no longer holding a charge for long, and I had to shell out for a name brand charger PLUS the adapter piece to my model's plug. By the time I realized that this was due to this affordable garbage charger, it was too late. Do not purchase this item.

Does a decent job of charging, but after barely a year the chord near the brick started to deteriorate and sever almost in half (causing sparks to fly everywhere - eek!). It's not safe to use it anymore at this point. I guess ya get what you pay for.

It used to charge effectively but now it seems it is affecting the laptop's battery cycles. Beware using this product on expensive Apple laptops!

My battery charger cable that came with my Mac Book Pro started fraying and wasn't charging my Mac; in fact this was my second battery charger (both frayed). The Morange AC Power Supply 85W is powering up my Mac perfectly!
