Drop in replacement
Once I ordered the right product, with the flange that had the right reach - it was an easy screw-in replacement for mine that were broken. But keep in mind that these are just cast metal. They break when I slide/slam my window open and the shock snaps the arm off.

Good fit.
Almost all of my original equipment broke after 15 years. These, although a different color, were a perfect replacement. Gave me peace of mind that my family could get out of the house in the event of an emergency. previously, with all the broken latches I had - you'd have to had thrown a chair out the window to open it.

Excellent!
I had been searching all over to find window latches/locks to replacing my existing ones- mostly because I didn't know they were 'Acorn'. The lock is of solid construction and looks good.

Very poorly made
Metal is very brittle, and with no support for screws, brackets collapse and break on installation.
